requesting Council approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of Kaua‘i, the County of Maui, and the County of Hawai‘i, to provide temporary assistance with the County of Kaua‘i’s property ownership transfer workload, allowing qualified personnel from the counties of Maui and Hawai‘i to assist while the County of Kaua‘i’s personnel is on extended leave, addressing the existing backlog of ownership transfer work and help maintain timely and efficient processing of property ownership changes, exemption applications, and establishing the 2027 assessments.
