Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve the draft minutes.
Resolution awarding and authorizing the execution of an agreement with Daystar Mechanical LLC d/b/a Daystar Solar for solar panel maintenance, repair, cleaning, and reporting services in an amount not-to-exceed $750,000 for a five-year term ending February 28, 2031.
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution awarding and authorizing execution of an agreement with Daystar Mechanical LLC d/b/a Daystar Solar (Daystar Solar) for solar panel maintenance, repair, cleaning, and reporting in an amount not-to-exceed $750,000 for a five-year term ending February 28, 2031.
Resolution approving an exception to the Livermore Municipal Code bidding requirements and authorizing sole sourcing of specific EleMech, Inc. Portalogic FS-22 brand of Bulk Water Fill Station for the construction of the Water Reclamation Plant Recycled Water Fill Station Project WW202527.
The City Engineer recommends the City Council adopt a resolution: 1. Authorizing sole sourcing EleMech, Inc. Portalogic FS-22 Bulk Water Fill Stations for the construction of the Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) Recycled Water Fill Station Project WW202527; 2. Approving, per the recommendation of the City Engineer, an exception to the bidding requirement contained in the Livermore Municipal Code Section 2.68.550(C), because there is no competitive advantage to be gained by inviting bids and the City Engineer has determined that the supplies and equipment are unique and available from a sole source; and 3. Authorizing the City Manager to take whatever actions are necessary and appropriate to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
Resolution authorizing the execution of first amendments to the Fiscal Year 2018 and Fiscal Year 2020 HOME Investment Partnership grant agreements with Alameda County to extend the terms of the agreements.
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute first amendments to the FY 2018 and FY 2020 HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) grant agreements with Alameda County to extend the terms of the agreements to the following: 1. FY 2018 HOME Grant Agreement- extend term of the agreement to June 30, 2026 2. FY 2020 HOME Grant Agreement- extend term of the agreement to December 31, 2026
Resolution approving the naming of the Community Meeting Room at the Livermore Railroad Depot in honor of Alan Frank.
Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve the resolution to name the newly renovated Community Meeting Room at the Livermore Railroad Depot in honor of Alan Frank. The Railroad Depot building and land is owned by the City of Livermore and is located at 2500 Railroad Avenue at the Livermore Transit Center.
Resolution authorizing the execution of Project and Program Grant Agreements with East Bay Holocaust Education Center in the amount of $10,000, Las Positas College in the amount of $10,000, Livermore-Amador Symphony in the amount of $8,579, Livermore Art Association in the amount of $9,000, Livermore Valley Opera in the amount of $10,000, and Shruti Abhishek Dance in the amount of $8,000, consistent with the City's Public Art Policy.
The Commission for the Arts and staff recommend the City Council adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the following Project and Program Grant Agreements: 1. East Bay Holocaust Education Center, in the amount of $10,000 for "Violins of Hope" free exhibits and community education. 2. Las Positas College, in the amount of $10,000 for a literary arts festival. 3. Livermore-Amador Symphony, in the amount of $8,579 for "Spring Awakenings" concert and display. 4. Livermore Art Association, in the amount of $9,000 for the Spring Arts program 5. Livermore Valley Opera, in the amount of $10,000 for an education and community engagement program. 6. Shruti Abhishek Dance, in the amount of $8,000 for a free cultural and education program for youth.
