Ordinance Text Amendment No. 372

Consideration of a recommendation to the City Council regarding Ordinance Text Amendment No. 372 to amend Title 18 (Zoning Regulations) of the Redlands Municipal Code to prohibit new warehouses and logistics distribution facilities, as defined, and allow existing warehouses to remain as permitted or conditionally permitted uses. In addition, review a proposed amendment to Chapter 18.156, Article XII (Warehouses and Logistics Distribution Centers) to add new Section 18.156.970 for new rebuilding provisions for existing warehouses and logistics distribution centers. 2. Consideration of a recommendation to the City Council regarding a Resolution to amend the commercial and industrial Specific Plans of the City of Redlands to prohibit new warehouses and logistics distribution facilities, as defined, and allow existing warehouses to remain as permitted or conditionally permitted uses. 3. Consideration of a Notice of Exemption from environmental review in accordance with Sections 15061(b)(3), 15308, and 15378(b)(5) of the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines.
