Mo second second further discussion all thank you so much coun also ask sign DAV stating that no actions were taken on one Personnel matter and two real estate matter notion second it's been second no further discussion all know thank you so much let's go back to old business um a streetcape construction phase local government C what you um in your package you'll see this is the um SCP project that um has been going on or whatever it has left the um design phase and preconstruction it is at the construction phase now there we're going to be beginning um we received work this morning um they are going to ask um request federal funds I know the funds were um capped at 1.8 but due to the fact inflation and everything they are going to ask for 3.8 million doar for the streetcap projects so that's an increase and we're still at the 20% 20% um Mark um so that's going to be um if you look in your package 7 over $700,000 match that we have to do but the problem with that match is we're not going to have to come up with it all at one time it's going to be as the invoices come in and we'll just pay 20% of what the invoice is and remember this is reimbursable Grant so once we pay it they all going to give us the money back minus 20% um another c c caveat with it that um the 3.8 is what they requesting they
haven't set it out for bids or anything so we really don't know what the cost of the streetcape will be so um I am asking for um approval is the cost for the street skate um talking to him today it's not going to be within a year it's going to be spread out over over at least minimum two-year time frame so we'll have that time to for our match to go through for our match so we won't have to be rushing and saying we you know we cash crunch or whatever so it'll be it'll be spread out over at least a minimum of two year a twoyear period um I know this comes to shock but I would recommend looking at it I um I did um some homework um from T SP to um splice um I know in 26 we have a new Splash but this you know the splash still ongoing um to the rest of 25 um I would think that um you know you know how important this street Escape project is um and once once it's bid it out we'll know where we at then question for S minutes yes sir I have one uh M uh you said that uh we'll be reimbursed and as the bo come in we'll pay them yes you know why that might come going to come out of T SP probably Splash and te Splash and what happened what what happens is it comes in the re they sending the invoice city is obligated to pay that invoice really the whole invoice but when when we are reimbursed we reimbursed just minus the 20% so that money comes all from the D comes back to us right so so really be we had the money we had the money up front we don't have to pay it
all we don't have to pay nothing up front unless to the invoices come in it's better that way because I I don't think for from cash standpoint it wouldn't be wise to pay it all up front we don't it'll suff it will suffer so it's 700 how much is it 20% what they add up to 700 yes so that's what the city going yeah we going to have to pay over those years 700,000 that's if the project stands at 3.8 but but we don't we don't really know it could be higher could be be lower but we if it's higher we just I think we need to sit and negotiate some more about the project so there not going to be a moving Target we're going to finalize that number before cuz I don't want to I don't we should have a moving yeah yeah and I and I don't know what happened but I think you know with inflation it did went up but I'm not I'm betting on that um you know we going to have to probably do you know look at the project framework agreement and going over 3.8 I'm not going to recommend us anything going over more than that but I do think this project is vital to um a vity of downtown and not downtown but the city of greensbor Also may couns I want to make you aware um the mayor is aware of this um we also have tap applications in that are covering 278 and um the widening on 44 it does have pedestrian lightning and sidewalks in it so we have we have submitted one for 278 also and the other so they hopefully we should be um hopefully um but to be honest with you we we were asked to um submit those um projects so we didn't they reached out to us G do yes g dot they reached out to us for
those how far going to go Direction um for instance um you already got some sidewalks but we are hoping that um the 10278 is going to stop right right there um at um the road at cotton corner and coming and coming on down and also the one with the widening of 44 is is scheduled to go from there and all up to where the high school is located so I think this aesthetically we get these accomplish it is going to you know make City look a whole lot different and a whole lot better in the view but what I'm asking for appr tonight is go ahead and um let let us um go ahead and move forward with this umate yeah spr skape just start they on that streetcap no they're going to bid it all hopefully in May so when they let it out in May we should know something any question man can you heard the request coming from Mr hay I entertain motion a second to approve to approve discussion don't for discussion all in favor that be know raise your hand and oppose the same sign at this time I entertain a motion anything come from can anything C this time I ENT a motion to Ober
this father we thank you for this day we ask you continue to lead us and guide us in Jesus name pray amen thank you all so much for your time
