Consideration of Lieutenant Promotion
Due to a retirement, we have a Lieutenant vacancy. The top three candidates for the position are: Kamrick Holding, Chris Laws, Levi Marshall.
Consideration of New Hires
Summary: Chief Schlageter requests approval to extend conditional offers to seven firefighters. The candidates have not been through any of the hiring process yet. The new hire conditional offer was approved in the February 13, 2026 meeting.
Engineer Process
Requesting authorization to proceed with a Merit Engineer Process. This process will establish an Engineer list for two years. The promotional process includes six components: interest letter, written competitive examination, practical examination, discipline record, training and education, and length of service. Candidates must complete the process with a minimum passing score of 70% to be placed on the promotional list.
