Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Uh good evening everyone. Welcome to the 9th of December's planning commission meeting. Uh we do not have a quorum for this meeting. Therefore, it will be cancelled for this evening. Uh but before we do that, I would just like to say uh this will be my last meeting and I wanted to thank Sarah Heler for everything that she did for us on the planning commission. uh my tenure is up and uh Sarah, I really appreciate everything that you did for the planning commission and everything else that you did. I'd also like to thank Sabrina for kind of guiding me through some of my endeavors and Tim for all your work that you do making sure that we can get this broadcast out and all the other technology stuff that you do over there. We appreciate that. and KC appreciate you uh explaining things to me on a lower level uh not so technical where I can understand it. I really appreciate that. With that being said, I would like to uh introduce Jeffrey Ward uh our newest member of the planning commission. And I'd like to ask the public for those who see this that uh the planning commission is a good way for you to see what's going on in the city of Oak Harbor. uh you really learn a lot about the ins and outs on what makes it work. Uh and when we wonder why city council votes the way they do on things, it's it's a lot more technical than just saying, "Yeah, we want to do it." So, uh, they have a hard job to fill and, uh, if you have time, please, please, uh, put in a resume and set on the planning commission if that's what you want or there's plenty of other opportunities in the city. You can go to the city website and all kinds of opportunities for you to to proceed in

your civil duties of taking care of our beautiful city. Uh, and your your opinions matter. Uh so I highly encourage you to take an opportunity uh to assist in making our city better and and in our way forward. So once again everyone, thank you.
