Woodford County Fiscal Court - Special Meeting

Good morning, everybody. I'll call this meeting of the Woodford County Fiscal Court to order.

Madam Clerk, would you please call the roll?

Thank you. The Woodford County Fiscal Court has scheduled a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, a special meeting for today at 11 a.m. And at this time, we will convene for the purposes of discussing civil litigation pursuant to KRS 61810-1, subsection C, which is the exemption for discussing pending litigation. So we are in open session now. If there are no comments, I would entertain a motion to go into closed session pursuant to KRS 61810 subsection 1C. Motion. Motion by Squire Brown. Second by Squire Gentry. Let me ask if there are any questions or comments on the motion on the table. Seeing none. All those in favor, please vote and signify by saying aye.

All those opposed, nay. That motion carries. We will now enter into executive session, closed session. Again, that's pursuant to the statute in the subsection that exempts us from open meetings to go into discussion of pending litigation. We have our counsel here, Mr. Barry Stills of Kincaden Stills. The members of the fiscal court and the county attorney will remain. And we would ask that all other persons be excused from the room. We will convene, reconvene in open session prior or after our executive session concludes. Thank you. The fiscal court was in executive session pursuant to 61.8.10.1 subsection C. We were in executive session meeting with our counsel regarding the pending litigation and the county attorney. Would you renew your motion, Squire Brown, to return to open session? There is a motion to return to open session and there is a second. Are there any comments thereon? All those opposed, nay. We are back in open session of the Woodford County Fiscal Court, the committee that holds the special meeting. There was no action taken in the closed executive session prior here too. We met with our counsel that was appointed by CACO, Mr. Barry Stills of Kincade and Stills Law Firm, and the county attorney. That was the total sum of the business, and there was no action thereon undertaken. So at this point, it is proper to adjourn. Is there a motion for saying? Motion.
