that we would do eight housing projects and we actually did nine so that's meet our goal and we also were able to spend all the um remaining cbdg funds that we had received through covent um we were on a deadline i think it was may something that we had to have it step by and we were able to purchase and install a generator for the senior citizen center so overall we um

exceeded our goals for this year yes the program the program is used to provide updates minor home repairs new roofs new doors new windows for income eligible residents so if you are interested for the upcoming year we the money has not dropped on that program but if you are interested please call the city building and we will give you information regarding how that program functions and if you're eligible.

Yeah, the main thing is it's based upon your income level, which varies depending upon the number of people in your household, but somebody within the city would be able to explain all that to you.

If you have any questions, it's 304- 481-6409. We'll just wait a couple minutes to see if anybody's calling in. In this upcoming year, we hope to do another nine to ten houses. Again, it depends upon the work items that are done, how expensive they are, versus how many units we can actually do.

Did I miss, did you give a rundown of what they can actually apply for? What that money would be out for?

I said windows, you can apply for windows and doors. You can apply for a new roof. You can apply to have your HVAC repaired. Hot water tank. Yeah, hot water tank, gutters. and downspouts and I believe that is it for the things that can be accomplished.

And unfortunately it doesn't take many of those to meet the spending amounts that we have so if you're interested call the city building tomorrow or sometime within the next week get your name on the waiting list because as Amy said we don't have our money yet and We'll just put people's names on a waiting list and then get to you as soon as we receive our funds.

How are they selected? Is it in accordance to the list that they call in?

They're selected according to the list that they call in. We keep them in at the point they get all of their information back to us. We take that. information and we come out and look at your house and take photos and it's then you're just added just the next person on the list once you get all of the information into us.
