26-051 Agreement for Goleta’s Fourth of July Drone Light Show Vendor and Acceptance of Donation of Funds for the Fourth of July Drone Light Show Event Above $10,000
Recommendation: A. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a three-year agreement with Sky Elements for a Fourth of July Community Drone Light Show, with a total not-to-exceed amount of $240,000. B. Accept a donation from Yardi Systems of $50,000 towards a July 4th Community Drone Light Show and authorize the City Manager or designee to enter into a donation agreement in substantive form to receive the funds attached to this staff report subject to any changes from Yardi Systems and as approved by the City Attorney. C. Authorize the City Manager to accept all future donations and/or sponsorships for the July 4th Community Drone Light Show in an amount over $10,000 using the attached donation agreement in substantive form as a template to receive future sponsorships in accordance with the City's Donation Policy.
