The city's initiating a historic resources survey in and around the Texas college area as an implementation item of the 2017 Historic Preservation Strategic Plan project will document structures constructed prior to 1977, along with the high level survey of nine postwar subdivisions, in coordination with the Texas Historical Commission. Through the CLG program. Fieldwork will occur in phases through throughout 2026 from the public right of way only. And so we're very excited about this project.
