260142 Village Equipment to be Declared Surplus
Ordinance approving the request of departments to sell and/or dispose of surplus equipment as more specifically detailed in Exhibit "A" attached to the ordinance, as these items have extended beyond their useful life or are obsolete as follows: Police Department: seventy (70) Taser 7 devices; seventy (70) Taser 7 holsters; four-hundred-sixty-two (462) Taser 7 duty, training and inert cartridges; six (6) office chairs (broken); Taser items to be returned to vendor for destruction as they are no longer functional/chairs to be destroyed as they are broken and not functional; IT Department: one (1) metal four-drawer file cabinet.

An Ordinance decreasing the number of Class "A/B-II" liquor licenses by one (1) due to a change in ownership of Blazin Wings, Inc. d/b/a Buffalo Wild Wings at 207 E. Roosevelt Road, and the creation of one (1) new Class "A/B-II" liquor license for Lombard Wing Company, LLC at 207 E. Roosevelt Road, under new ownership. (DISTRICT #6)

The petitioner requests the Village grant a conditional use, pursuant to Section 155.420(C)(17) of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow for a Learning Center (indoor athletic training facility) within the I Limited Industrial District. By a vote of 8-0, the Plan Commission recommended approval of the petition. This petition will be forwarded to the Village Board for consideration on April 9, 2026. (DISTRICT #4) Legislative History: 3/16/26 Plan Commission approved with the condition 4/9/26 Village Board of Trustees passed on first reading

The petitioner requests the Village grant a conditional use, pursuant to Section 155.415(C)(4) of the Zoning Ordinance, to allow for a day care center within the B3 Community Shopping District. By a vote of 8-0, the Plan Commission recommended approval of the petition. This petition will be forwarded to the Village Board for consideration on April 9, 2026. By a 7-0 vote, the Economic and Community Development Committee recommends approval of the requested Downtown Renovation and Improvement Grant up to $75,310. Staff requests placement on the April 23, 2026, Village Board of Trustees agenda with a waiver of the first reading to meet the 2026 Downtown schedule.
