Hey Buckeye, James Bray Boy here, project manager with the capital improvement program. And I'm currently standing down here on Monroe Avenue where we have an upcoming project. It's the Monroe Riping Project. Back in August of 2025, our city council approved a three-lane configuration with one lane in each direction with a left turn lane at every intersection. This is designed to improve our traffic flow, pedestrian safety, site visibility safety, and also parking is going to be closer to the curb. So, this project is going to start May 26th and we're hoping to have it completed by the time school starts. So, this project is going to start on Miller Road or First Street and is going all the way down to Eastern Avenue. So, Monroe Avenue will remain open. However, there will be some traffic control in the areas. For more information, please go to buckeyaz.gov.
