Good morning, any person who is a lobbyist pursuant to chapter two, article six of the city code must register with the city clerk and comply with the related city requirements for lobbyists before appearing before the Wynwood Design Review Committee. A person may not lobby a city official, board member, or staff member until registering a copy of the city code section of a lobbyist is available in the city clerk's office or online at www.munico.com. Any person may be heard by the Wynwood Design Review Committee through the chair for not more than two minutes any proposition before the committee unless modified by the chair members of the public wishing to address the body may do so by visiting miami gov virtual boards to submit their written comments via the online comment form the comments submitted through the comment form if any have been distributed to the committee members and the city staff so the committee members can consider the comments prior to taking any action that will be included as part of the public record for this meeting the online comment form will remain open during the the meeting to accept comments and distribute to the committee members up until the chairperson closes public comment. Thank you. Good to see you again. So, my name is Agustin Arias. I'm from Module X Miami, and today I'm going to show you and present you this signage project located at 325 Northwest 28th Street, Miami, Florida, 33127. It is an exterior sign. It's for a retail business. So, let me... go straight to the sign details. So this sign will be located on the south facade of the building. It's a non-illuminated sign. It's made out of HDU with which is high density you retain it's a the idea of or the intention of the design is to have a simulation of concrete So that's why we're using this material. So it'll be a carved HDU sign Painted so The intention of the design is also to have a very minimal sign. So we want the sign to have no contrast with the wall that's behind it. So it'll be painted exactly the same color as the wall. It will be installed with spacers, one inch spacers, so it pops a little bit out of the wall. But yeah, we don't want the sign to be very, to have a lot of contrast. We want something very minimal. So it's non-illuminated, but it does have exterior illumination. So let me show you a night view of the sign. So it'll have external illumination. Here you can see the mounting details. So we have the one-inch spacer, and it's good to put it on the wall. It's a two-inch return spacer. Here you can see a render of the day view and a night view. Something very important to mention is the sign won't be right on the right-of-way of the building. If you see here on the plan, there's an internal outdoor garden area, so the sign will be about 45 feet from the right-of-way.

And, yeah, it's inspired on the area history of concrete and industry like this, those industrial roots of the neighborhood. So, yeah, that's basically it.

I'm Melissa with Art Sign Company, 835 Northwest 6th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. And I am here for items two and three. So they're both combined in the same package. This is Gibson Garage. I have, I've started with, on the very first portion is existing signs. And if you can see the design of the building, we've minimalized our signage to not take away from the architectural design of the building. And we have the existing signs on the building on the first three pages. And then the next set of eight and a half by 11 show you existing signs in the area that are similar to the design we have today for Gibson Garage. And then I started off, I have both signs for sign two and three, both on the first page. There's one sign on the north and one sign on the east. I did the night view first. And then we can get into the details of the sign. It is the maximum size allowed per code. This is as large as we could go. It is being considered a wall sign. It is going to be in like a faux neon style. So the black that you see will not light up. Only the white and the yellow will be illuminated to kind of give it the design feature of the neighborhood. And they look identical because the signs on the east and the north are identical, and they're just over the door. And then after the two elevation drawings, there is the structural. which I can go over any questions you guys may have on that. It does show the depth of the faux neon where it does stick out, and it's not just a plain, flush, flat sign.

So is this a new tenant for that space?

It is a new tenant. It's actually, it's called Gibson Garage because it's in one of your large garages, but also it's Gibson Guitars, but they also have a restaurant. So it's not just Gibson Guitars. There's other things utilized in there. They're also selling different art supplies and stuff. So that's why they're not going just with Gibson guitars.

It's a playoff of it, but it's not 100% what is... It's not... The Gibson portion, yes, but... the full logo, no, because it's not just guitars.

If I just wanted to give you a couple updates, if that's okay. We don't have more items on the agenda today, but I wanted to let you know that Gensler has sent us a free proposal for the Wynwood Urban Design Vision Plan. The plan department accepted. We worked with procurement, and they got a notice to proceed last Monday.

Wow, that's great news.

So we're just waiting to hear on the kickoff meeting date so that we can get everybody on the same page.

But you can go ahead and at least list the live local projects, even though they won't come in front of us? Yes, yeah.

I can share that. There are a few that are live local that are not required to come in.

That would be super, but at least we can track.

Yeah, and there are two out of the seven that I have that do have to come in. One is an entitlement, and the other one is a building permit. So they will have to come in before they issue their building permit.

Well, sounds like the agendas are going to pick up a little bit come March.
