First thing, we have ordinance 2026-12. The ordinance vacating a portion of Palm Street, running right of way. Located in the J.H. and D.A. American subdivision, by lot 61 in the city of St. Mary's. Next, we have Ordinance 12613, an ordinance vacating a portion of an existing 12-foot-wide east-west alley being bounded by Outlaws 48, 49, and 50 in the city of St. Mary's. Under new legislation, we have ordinance 2026-14. May I have a motion to read it? Mr. Acquiro, Mr. Dillon, council vote to read, please. All yeses. Ordinance 2026-14, an emergency ordinance amending ordinance number 2025-27, providing for wages and benefits for the city of St. Mary's supervisory personnel and non-represented employees. Ms. Fax?

Yes. Kim Reier is our current network administrator, and he submitted his retirement notice on July 10th. and received no qualified applicants and then we advertised it straight and received three applications and spoke to all three applicants. I also contacted two other people that didn't apply but one had inquired about wages and another had their application online. On a note about the wages for the physician on researching that, I found that a neighboring community has two physicians in their IT department, an IT technician with a top wage slightly higher than what we're proposing, and they also have an IT director topping out at $100,000 annually. Wales Zidan will begin employment this Thursday, August 27th. And we wish to have your approval to start on step five of the revised pay range.

Next, we have Ordinance 2026-15. May I have a motion to read, please? Mr. Lunds, Ms. Slater, council vote to read, please. All yeses. Ordinance 2026-15. An ordinance approving the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes of the codified ordinance of the city of St. Mary's. For the new people, this is an annual event for us. Next, we have Resolution 2026.11. May I have a motion to read, please? Mr. O'Connor, Mr. Fitzgerald, can I have a vote to read, please? All yeses? Resolution 2026.11, a resolution of sympathy to the family of Tina and Warren. Whereas Miss Tina Ward passed away on July 20th, 2026, and whereas Tina Ward faithfully served the citizens of St. Mary's as the fourth board of council represented from January 2000 through December 2003, and whereas her tenure on city council, Tina served in the parks and playgrounds, solid waste, streets and sidewalks, and traffic committees, dedicating her time and efforts to improve the quality of life of the residents of St. Mary's, and whereas Tina Ward's commitment to public service and her contributions The city of St. Mary's will be remembered with gratitude and appreciation. Now, therefore, be resolved by a council for the city of St. Mary's, Ohio. Section one, the council of the city of St. Mary's and the city administration extend their deepest sympathy to the family of Tina Ward. The city of St. Mary's recognizes the contribution that Tina made to our community and her efforts to make St. Mary's a better place to live. May her dedication and service be an inspiration of others. Clark, of course, is directed to deliver a copy of this resolution to the family of Tina Ward. I did serve with Tina. She had a big heart. She may have been a little rough and gruff, but she had a big heart. She really cared about people. That being said, may I have a motion to pass, please? Next we have Resolution 2026-12. May I have a motion to read, please? Mr. Quarrel, Mr. Gilliland, the House is about to read, please. All yeses. Resolution 2026-12, a resolution of sympathy to the family of Lawrence Larkin. Whereas Mr. Lawrence Larry Larkin passed away on June 18th, 2026. And whereas Lawrence Larkin faithfully served as citizens of the city of St. Mary's as council representative for three terms from January 1980 through December 1985. And whereas during his tenure in city council he also served in the finance committee, streets and sidewalks committee. Dedicating his time and efforts to improve the quality of life for the residents of St. Mary's. And whereas Lawrence Larkin also served as the City Treasurer from January 1986 through December 1993, his commitment to public service and his contributions to the City of St. Mary's will be remembered with gratitude and appreciation. I'll therefore be resolved by the Council of the City of St. Mary's, Ohio. Section 1, the Council of the City of St. Mary's and the City Administration extend their deepest sympathy to the family of Lawrence Larkin. Section 2 of the City of St. Mary's recognizes the contribution Larry made to our community and his efforts to make St. Mary's a better place to live. May his dedication and service be an inspiration for others. And as Section 3 of the Cronkite Council is directed to deliver a copy of this resolution to the family of Lawrence Larkin. Any questions?
