Hey Torrance, a major water infrastructure project is moving through our city, with long-term benefits for the community. Crews are continuing work on a pipeline that will support the city's groundwater desalter project, helping to expand local water supplies and improve long-term water reliability. Starting Monday, July 20th, the next phase of construction moves onto Civic Center Drive, starting at Maple Avenue to Madrona Avenue. Drivers should expect lane closures on Civic Center Drive in both directions. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic. Please look out for posted signs, drive with caution, and follow the flaggers instructions through the work zone. Short-term delays are expected, but this project will help build a more reliable water future for torrents.
