Yes. This is a resolution authorizing the city administrator to enter into a pay-to-play distribution agreement with the Northport Shore Sports Complex development. This is uh was contemplated in the exclusive dealings agreement signed a few years ago, but essentially this allows Northport to recover some money for um when travel ball teams are staying at hotels maybe not in the city. Um the travel ball tournaments themselves are the ones that decide whether or not they're going to do this. Um we get a portion of it if they decide they're going to do it. Uh we don't have to do anything for that. We just get a check at the end of the month. So there's there's nothing that we have to do related to it. And they're going to do it regardless of whether or not we get a check, but basically this allows us to get a percentage of it as the hosting.
So we're just getting we're just getting a little bit of income. Yeah. It's not going to be a lot, but it it is just a little bit to try to um and obviously if there's a hotel that comes and is built next to the facility, that will change things, but for right now, there's not one next to the park. Uh this is a study that will help guide the city um in terms of how to regulate that, where there should be, how many, all of those sorts of things. We did do an RFP for this. There was only one responsive bidder. Uh and that was uh for a not to exceed contract of $55,000.
