What day is it? April 24. The meeting of the Keep Care Cleaning Green Commission. Bring that to order. And, before we do really pledge of allegiance, I would like to take a moment of silence because we lost one of our unofficial members this past month.

0:35 – 1:100

And more importantly, mom and her family, sir, our mascot, Sasha. And we're so sorry. And we wanna thank her for her service and, understand that she, being very low to the ground, was the first in line to benefit from our work of picking up trash. So, let's have the ten second moment of silence and think about pets and loved ones. Alright.

1:10 – 1:330

Bless your soul, Sasha. Thank you. Glenn, would you like to do pledge allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the flag the of United The United States Of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with two deep answers the.

1:370

Here. Okay. Colleen, can you take roll call?

1:451

1:55 – 2:121

Tom Zernera? Sandra Frost? Here. Ingram Gotham? Sergei Melnikov? Melissa Melman? Here. Nico Nadai? Here. Deborah Patton? Here. Chandu Surandas? Here. And George Viemil?

2:14 – 2:310

And I'm sorry. I forgot to see if we have any a v two four four nine teleconference. There are none. Thank you. Now we are open for any public comments for anybody here or online that has to do anything with anything that is not on our agenda.

2:331

Would you hear and put it online?

2:35 – 2:460

None. Okay. Okay. We don't have any presentations. So action items, meeting minutes from 03/27/2025.

2:490

Anybody have any comments on our past need? Did we hear that? We don't do a comment of very past meeting minutes. Needs to prove

2:561

them. Anybody has any Anybody had any any issues with our previous meeting minutes? No.

3:030

Okay. Why don't we move to approve them?

3:071

Right? Yeah. We just do motions.

3:090

Motion to approve our meeting minutes. Anybody?

3:122

I move it.

3:130

Mohanid, any seconds? I second. Deborah.

3:17 – 3:311

Thank you. And I'll take the votes. Yep. So when I say your name, if you could say yes, no, or abstain. Abligeth of ours? Yes. Sonia Chinchand? Yes. Gwen Dasi? Yes. Mohamed Awali?

3:321

Tom Ferreira? Sandra Frosk? Yes. Vikram Gautam? Sergei Melnikov? Melissa Millman? Yes. Kingo Nagai?

3:431

Deborah Patton?

3:451

Andrew Serondas? Yes. And George Vianmel?

3:48 – 4:060

That passes. K. Okay. And so we are gonna have a brief report on our twenty twenty five revised meeting schedule, which Colleen has for us and business on that.

4:06 – 4:371

So it's very simple based on the council's adopting as a transition to a commission and reduction of meetings to coincide with your cleanups that was effective of the date of that action was was in March. So we brought to you the revised meeting schedule that coincides with the for 2025. Hopefully, you guys can see them up there. Is on there, June 26. Then there's the August 21 meeting and then the October 15 meeting.

4:37 – 5:191

Please note that August and October are both considered a special meeting because they land on a third Thursday, and that is because the fourth Saturday lines up that way. So it has to coincide so that you meet before your cleanup. And then one other thing to consider for August is there is a August downtown street party on August 21. So it was brought to our attention that if you want to participate in the August street party, you may wanna consider tonight moving your August meeting up another week to the fourteenth. That would then be far in advance of your cleaning, you know, holding more stuff.

5:191

But it's something to consider since we're having to adopt this revised schedule. So tonight would be the night to to do that as well. Okay. That's it.

5:29 – 5:520

So on that point of moving the August 21 meeting, just to be on the safe side, my thought would be, let's move it to that date, and then we have a little bit of time to decide if we actually can do that other street party, you know, if we have the energy and time. But at least we've moved the meeting so that we have the option

5:522

open. Yeah.

5:540

Do you I think that's agree

5:551

with that idea? So do we wanna just kind of

5:580

poll with the hands that it's okay, or do we need to take a vote?

6:01 – 6:131

Well, what will end up happening is I will need a motion in a second to adopt the revised schedule, and whoever makes the motion can include moving on August 14.

6:130

Okay. I see. So we're gonna just motion or vote to approve the whole new schedule, and we can just include moving that to the

6:211

The motion could be to adopt the revised schedule and change the August date Okay. August 14.

6:290

K. Well, I can I motion that? That or somebody else?

6:333

Well, I motion to adopt the schedule, revised schedule, and to move the August date to the August 14.

6:400

Thank you. And a second?

6:422

I second it.

6:420

Mohan. Alright. Our motion on the second team tonight.

6:46 – 7:161

Okay. So I will call the vote. And, again, just so everyone's clear, the motion is to adopt the revised schedule for the remainder of 2025 and to adjust August 21 to August 14. And this is just only for our meetings only? Yes. Yes. Okay. Making it clear. Alright. So I will, call your name. If you say, please, respond with yes, no, or abstain. So Blaytha Bowers? Yes. Celia Chincham? Yes. Wandasi? Yes. Mohanit Awali?

7:16 – 7:271

Tom Ferreira? Sandra Frost? Yes. Ingram Gotham? Sergei Melnikal? Melissa Millman? Yes. Shingo Nagai?

7:271

Deborah Patton? Yes. Chandu Sarandas? Yes. And George Fairmill. And that passes.

7:34 – 8:090

Great. That's great. Okay. Let's see. So we're gonna go over our cleanup and beautification events and community events stuff later. So I guess we can move on to informational items. I'm sorry. Financial report. Financial report, please, Holly. Financial report.

8:09 – 8:250

It's in your package? Oh, yeah. Basically yes. Hopefully, everybody's maybe taking taking a look at our financial report. So it looks like we still have where our total expenses were. This is today. Correct?

8:25 – 9:021

Yes. Today. So, for the last meeting, you, approved to use the remaining balance to purchase, swag and supplies, which one of the client have been working on. And so we're really planning to send every last penny. While we have it. Right? Yes. So this is for fiscal year '25. '25. Yeah. Which is ending in second month. Right. Yeah. It's gonna end at the May, right, or June? No. June, June 30. June 30. But, of course, the procurement process has to become completed in phases of the balance. Okay. And so we're

9:020

not sure what our next fiscal year budget is

9:041

gonna be yet. Right? I I

9:052

would anticipate it being 10,000, not 15.

9:091

And that

9:095

would be the

9:091

effect of July 1. Okay.

9:120

Well, given budget cuts everywhere, I mean, I'm actually pretty pleased with that. I mean

9:17 – 9:441

But but we are making sure, Rose and I have Yeah. Went to the shed and trailer and took a really good inventory and looking at what items you have that are for members versus items that are considered swag that you give away for other things. So we're making sure that you guys will have what you need to get by for the next the next year, 2026, fiscal year. Yeah. I mean And And you're still getting $5,000 next year. We just have to be very careful with your funds for the year. Right.

9:45 – 10:030

You know, and and last year, we obviously talked about kind of reducing our swag, and the bigger ticket items would only be given if someone really actually adopts a block or does something special and that kind of stuff. So and we are covering any kind of supplies that we will need it with. We bring new members on. So I

10:03 – 10:211

think I think we're being pretty And they forgot. Strategic. I think I I have not mentioned to you all that, we had approval, and we, using our internal budget for our adopt a block program that we have to purchase shirts for adopt block participants.

10:220

It's the poli knife shirts. Shirts. So

10:25 – 10:421

those will be given out to when we do a Doctor. Block Day in August, when we get those folks, hopefully, they come. They come in for the after the cleanup at the site. We'll invite everyone to come for light refreshments, meet everybody. We'll give some to people, and we'll give them a shirt.

10:42 – 11:030

Yep. And thank you, director Roman, for all the work on that. The shirts look great. Okay. So I think we're pretty good on that. Any questions about the financial report? Sorry about anything? No. Okay. How about the attendance report?

11:03 – 11:441

So the attendance report, you'll notice in the packet also a result of the transition from health force to commission. The attendance is now on a calendar year, not fiscal year. Oh, nice. Yeah. So it's it's been revised to reflect calendar calendar year. And just things I wanna remind everybody is the blue columns are regular meetings. Your attendance is mandatory at those, and it does count. So unless you're excused for excusable reasons. The gold columns are what are considered special meetings, and attendance is not mandatory. That's highly encouraged because, again, the the the the group here cannot take action if we don't have a quorum.

11:44 – 12:141

You know? So it's important that you come even if it's a stressful meeting. And then the gray columns are your cleanups. Those are also mandatory, and your it counts towards your and against your attendance. And then oh, you know what I was just noticing I left out? I left out the columns for the community events. So my apologies and my excitement to shorten it onto a small piece of paper so we can see it. Yeah. So I'll make sure I get those calls

12:140

and for, like, the downtown student party and things. Yes. Because Yeah. Well, we'll talk Yeah.

12:21 – 12:541

And then those the attendance at the community events are also they're not mandatory, but they're very they're encouraged. Yes. Because, again, the team needs to be out there. It only works when there's a team out there. And and then the council does look at that. So it is good if you can't if you miss some meetings, don't panic right away. But if you can come to a downtown street party and work, when they look at the overall attendance, and I believe council member Andrew has mentioned that, they will look and see, well, you're at least engaged in other areas and then take that into consideration before removing somebody based on attendance.

12:540

Colleen pretty much wrapped up what I

12:564

was gonna say. But, yes,

12:57 – 13:310

I want to reiterate if you ever got one of the letters from the city that you might be in trouble, don't get scared right away, and please talk to somebody because staff knows, your leadership should know what you're doing behind the scenes, and we'll stick up for you and say no. You know? We don't wanna lose this person. So, always always talk to somebody that are concerned about some kind of attendance issue before maybe making a a black and white decision. Okay. Cole, can I ask you question?

13:313

The total what is the total? The number in the total column? What does that represent? Because it doesn't seem

13:37 – 13:541

That's the number of events that so there's nine attendant total of nine attendance required items. And so so far, like, if you look at the first person, you've attended three of the required nine, but the the rest of them haven't happened yet. So

13:540

Mhmm. But, like, for instance, mine, I've got four ones, but it's only number three in

13:591

the total thing. Because the golden column

14:020

Does it count?

14:031

Does not count. Got it. Okay.

14:042

It's not all.

14:050

Got it.

14:061

So that total column is only your is your blues and your greens.

14:10 – 14:240

Okay. Yeah. Of course. Right. Okay. Yeah. So if you want a 100% on your, straight a on your attendance, these meetings and our our cleanups. Okay. Alright.

14:25 – 14:421

And and by the way, I don't make this up. This template and format is given to all board staffers for these committees, and we all use the same spreadsheet, and it's already formula formulated by our city clerk. It's So we just brought it in. Every commission Yes.

14:420

Has the same situation. Yeah. Or committee commission. Yeah. Okay.

14:481

Yours is just a little different because you guys have some activities, like district meetings.

14:53 – 15:180

But that gives us more opportunities to, maybe make up for something we might have missed, I guess. Okay. Alright. Sub or does anybody else have any questions about attendance or concerns? No? No. We're good. Okay. Well, subcommittee reports, that's gonna be short since we haven't done any subcommittees yet. But I would like to say oh, great.

15:19 – 15:560

You know, I'm I'm pleased that we have streamlined our subcommittees, and we know what each one is and who's if you know, if you have a question about which one you're on or you wanna talk about being on a different one? Obviously, we can do that. I I know we've already got a full, calendar going on, and we have a small team and all of that. But I really need to know if somebody we need three leads for the three subcommittees eventually. We've got policy.

15:56 – 16:170

We've got events. We've got education outreach. I'm willing to, just to get started, head up one of those. I was debating either, events or education outreach, probably leaning towards education outreach. Liza, I was hoping you might consider doing policy.

16:175

Yes. My name You know? D. Oh, okay. Is that my name at

16:220

the top? Yeah. For policy? Yeah. Okay.

16:265

I'll I'll volunteer with that.

16:29 – 16:540

Okay. Great. So so we would need if I do education outreach by the DES policy, Tom might wanna do events. But if somebody else wants an opportunity to take on that challenge, start thinking about it, basically. Maybe by the next meeting, which is in two months, we could, or somebody could reach out.

16:54 – 17:160

If they are interested, reach out to me, and I will help you get started. I know how to do it from last year. And, you know, it's just since we are a smaller team, it's actually gonna and it's actually in smaller it's gonna be easier to coordinate when you meet. You know? And it and you may not have to meet that much if you're really not taking on a project.

17:16 – 17:450

Just kinda start thinking about What business we're gonna, work these into like, what what do we wanna do with these subcommittees? And who wants to kinda take the lead in getting a group together and talk about, you know, what do you what kind of project you might wanna take on? I mean, I definitely want to challenge another beautification project. Still, Todd, someday you're gonna get an email about that. I don't know.

17:452

I have two notes I was supposed to follow with my landscape team already, so I'm I'm prepared for that email. So

17:510

Okay. Thank

17:511

you. Just sorry, very quickly, I put together the That is awesome. Page while you guys were I just

17:580

saw that.

17:581

And I'm sorry. The the this is a screenshot, so I can't actually edit it. So I just put a line through Lucas' name.

18:030

But Thank you.

18:044

That's great.

18:09 – 18:480

So, you know, even if we start maybe working on that project as a subcommittee this year, it doesn't mean that that the project's actually gonna happen this year because we're short staffed. But at least we're starting the process of, you know, getting the ball rolling on something. Blayna and I talked about with the policy definitely challenging. They're doing some more with illegal dumping. So I know she has some ideas. And so that's the concept here, that we need leads. And, basically, a lead is gonna coordinate the meetings and just kinda do what I'm doing, but much more informally. So, so that's my 2 cents on that. Yes. But we

18:49 – 19:005

could we share could send out for each group each group's email? Absolutely. Yeah. So then everybody will have in that group will have each other's Did you get the roster?

19:001

Did you sent the roster.

19:025

The roster, think has that's number.

19:051

But if I get not, I will.

19:070

The roster, I am

19:075

still working on it. The

19:090

old one yet. It's still the old ones. Yeah. I haven't gotten a Oh, okay. But

19:135

I was hoping you could just put us in each group.

19:161

Okay. Yeah. To make it a smaller if they have Yeah.

19:190

Me or myself can work on that. I'll either I can do it. Yeah.

19:233

I can do that in August.

19:25 – 19:441

No. I can give it to subcommittees. Guess what? I'll cc you on all from me. Do. But as well, also, like, the policy subcommittee, I will send to the five of you. I will send an email with all five of you so you guys are all in one group. Mhmm. And I'll do the same for each one, and Melissa, I'll cc you on all. That's great. Love

19:440

it. That'd be great. I'm sorry, Melissa. Which one did you say you would in the interim picker? Outreach. Outreach? Yeah. I'll do outreach.

19:534

I'm sorry. You thought Tom possibly may do events? Events. Yep.

19:56 – 20:250

But I want other people to consider too, you know, think about what you might like to do with that. I mean, events, really, the sub events subcommittee really is kind of there to support our events. Like, in my opinion, is, you know, maybe help coordinate when we're having a big event. Who needs who's gonna go to the trailer in the shed and help load things? Or what kind of information do we need updated?

20:25 – 20:480

You know, that kind of thinking about what do we need for a particular event. So what kind of swag are we bringing? You know, support for leadership, our whole team to have it run smoothly. So not one only one or two people are doing the work for every single event. So that's kind of my thought about that one. You didn't have a question. Yes. Go ahead.

20:48 – 21:075

I I don't know how we're to communicate right now. So if we share each other's calendar, that would be great. For example, how often do we meet? Let's say, every other month or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday because sometimes not only education or outreach, I might

21:075

interested occasionally, eventually, if I'm available. So we should be sharing account.

21:130

That's so big.

21:145

That'd good, I think.

21:141

We I think have to be careful of the porn. That's the that's the nice.

21:180

I see. Oh, true.

21:201

Yeah. At least we we tell each other we

21:225

are going to do on that day, we we did just one line.

21:28 – 21:570

Sure. I mean, basically, yeah, if when you become a lead, you reach out to your members and find out, hey. The '7, is not good for everybody to meet then, and then it's just a Zoom meeting. But, yeah, I mean, I'm sure if, you know, one person wanted to attend something you know, because maybe events and outreach is gonna do a project where the two groups can help each other, but my colleagues so you send a representative.

21:583

If you're talking to people.

22:00 – 22:160

Uh-huh. No. Thank you, Zoe. And Joshua? Jose. Jose. I'm so sorry. Jose here from the R Youth Commission tonight. Thank you so much for coming. You're getting a taste of what CG seems like.

22:175

And one more thing. So for the events committee, was that where we're gonna collect the data for who shows up as well? You know, how we had

22:250

to do something. That forth.

22:27 – 22:445

That because we wanted to maybe even do that at this event since we might have a whole lot of different groups from different places. Events. Able to, you know, collect that data. You know, we have, you know, I don't know, YMCA or somebody at the homes or, you know Yeah. At home. Those groups, we were gonna try to make a list.

22:44 – 23:030

That would be one where events could do the, like, data collection number crunching. And then they give that information to Outreach, and then Outreach knows where to what other places to hit. You know? If we have a lot coming in from one area and not the other, then that's where the two teams could work together.

23:035

So maybe a couple of people from there could volunteer to do that, but this particular event is.

23:090

You know? Just maybe a job. Something you all look like

23:14 – 23:255

your names up there maybe. You know? Especially if you're doing registration. Right? It might be easy to to do that. Just, you know, some of the things she's asking.

23:250

Are you talking about this week? I'm sorry.

23:27 – 23:465

But there's not we'll have, like, 200 some odd people maybe. Yeah. And so maybe we can Most of it. You know, the people, yeah, that registered ahead of time, or maybe we can use the app or whatever. I mean, that's where it's We might have large groups, and we can get the information for those groups so we can contact them maybe for the next cleanup as an example. Yeah.

23:46 – 24:291

Because yeah. That will happen automatically because I have all that data on the back end. Okay. And From Eventbrite. Right? Yeah. I mean, I've actually logged on to Eventbrite now and looked look. Yeah. I think what would be good for your team for the events of committee is this Saturday is to kinda keep a sharp eye on how much trash maybe is collected and use that Google Doc to input the other two. The volunteers, how many community service hours you get, how much trash you estimated was collected, those things that you guys are tracking. And then also the sub the events subcommittee can report out at the next meeting when you debrief. Because, like, sometimes I'll come in and I'll say you guys had this many volunteers. Mhmm. This many hours were given. Instead of me giving that data, your events team could be managing that.

24:291

That would actually be helpful for me because that's one less thing I have to look up and keep track of. So that would be a a big help if that group could do that.

24:37 – 25:020

This is leading into our upcoming event, which I need to talk with you guys about that later. But registration in the morning, obviously, is gonna be the crunch time, then it's gonna ease up. And in the end, when everybody comes back in, we probably won't need as many people at the table just to collect the supplies again and just direct people to go get lunch or maybe go to our booth and

25:021

get a treat or something.

25:04 – 25:270

So that might be a time kind of at the end where maybe Mohamed, you might go take a look at the all the trash, you know, kind of Take a picture. Yeah. Take a picture. You know what I mean? I could help you remind you guys to get that information. Chandu, I know you're gonna have to leave early. So but Tom's not here. He might be he probably could help you do something like that.

25:271

Community service hours is another one. So that's Yeah.

25:300

Yeah. Basically, how many of the community service tabs we gave out. Yeah. Anyway okay.

25:381

Any I hold on to next time before we Yeah.

25:400

I'm not fluent. I won't any more comment or thoughts about the subcommittees? Just subcommittees.

25:483

Just just on on the note of Saturday because I'm gonna have to leave Saturday.

25:520

Oh, I know. As long as you are there in the morning.

25:543

I'll be there. I'll be there through all of the heavy lifting part.

25:591

Heavy. Yeah.

26:000

Morning is is key. Mhmm. Okay. On the subcommittees, you have Sandra down twice?

26:071

She she asked to be on both.

26:090

Oh, okay.

26:091

Unless you wanna be off one now.

26:120

Yeah. Because Sandra, if you were helping with events, you'd be about three of them. That's a lot.

26:206

It was kind of

26:21 – 26:341

I think you were originally on Outreach. And then when this first was presented, you asked if she Yeah. Said asked if anybody wanted to do something else in addition, and you chose to be on policy as well. Yeah. Totally.

26:346

It makes no difference. Just gotta show up.

26:391

That's it.

26:395

I think that's about being on policy.

26:41 – 27:110

I know. Sandy's she's good with that. Good with that. And, I mean, I I I don't want to assume, but we haven't seen Vic in a long time. And, frankly, I'm getting just concerned on a friend level if he's okay. Anybody knows what's going on. I mean, you know, obviously, he's an adult, and he could ring in. But we may I don't know. We may not Yes.

27:111

I'll make one more attempt, and then we will be making a recommendation for.

27:160

So we may be losing another person here.

27:18 – 27:301

And the reason we would be moving forward with that, and could say, is because we're gonna be entering a recruitment period, and there's we're gonna wanna fill that seat if he's not gonna be engaged with us.

27:333

And you guys are trying to reach out to

27:351

The city clerk's office is saying. Yeah.

27:370

And I'm about to I'll see each other and just say, how are you doing? It's just busy. Been as you

27:421

But it's been months. We haven't had all this full year, and last night was in November. I without looking, I don't know if you can look it up. I'm not even sure if he was here in November.

27:54 – 28:130

Anyway, I know we all care about each other and look out for each other too and what just hope he's okay. And then, yeah, should we move we're done with subcommittees, and Colleen has a short presentation on. I'm sorry? He was in November. He's not been since November.

28:131

So last meeting in November.

28:16 – 28:481

So it's short, sweet. For the month of March, we had no new groups. We had none renew. We had none retire. We still have 57 groups pending renewals. Okay. And we're gonna start flushing some of those out a little bit because if they're on they haven't responded in the last, like, eight months of us trying to engage them, we have to assume that they're not an active group, and we need to retire them out so that we can have some accurate data. And then over on the the the right side I'm sorry. Can you guys see that?

28:490

On the right side. Good. Yeah.

28:531

Actually, front. You know, it's right here in front

28:555

of me.

28:58 – 29:361

We had 53 requests and asked us, hey. We're gonna pick up Adopt A Block trash debris. And you can see the groups that we've noted were active, and then we still have about 37 requests that they did not enter their group name. But then these at the very bottom are some of the names that we we saw as the person who entered it. Wasn't. Correa, Honey, Ham, Paige, Jacintho, McCready, Meryl, Horace, and Yurvy. Yeah. You see, Tom was really busy. Yeah. Tom. But it's it's a lot of the same folks every every time.

29:36 – 29:470

And Tom is not here because he is receiving a Hearts of Hayward award. So that's pretty cool. So that's what's happening. Yeah. So congrats, Tom.

29:501

Yeah. That's all they have on top.

29:540

Okay. So I It would be great

29:551

if you guys get some sign ups with them.

29:580

I know. Yeah. Well, if you do sign ups.

30:011

Yeah. We have Whoever's gonna get the chance to do that part.

30:05 – 30:240

Right. We'll, yeah, we'll have to figure that one. Let's get through registration. We'll go to the trailer, get the map out. Okay. So we kinda went through the the calendar already. Or no. Did we? So Yeah.

30:241

So you're on the Earth's Liquids for Dave Logistics. Yes.

30:28 – 30:590

Okay. Sure. Sure. So yes. Okay. Moving on to the Saturday. Obviously, our upcoming event at Weeks Park. There's the layout. That's a little bit small too, but, actually, the mouse helps. You see the u shaped yellow tables are the registration area. Our table is gonna be right number seven at the end of that top row of yellow.

31:041

John, can you point to it? Don't see.

31:11 – 31:330

Need those laser pointers. That's the community center, the big building. This community center. We're actually not It's closer in the bathroom.

31:332

Yes. Single to Same single bus.

31:351

Same single bus. Yeah.

31:360

Single Library parking lot.

31:377

Yeah. This is

31:390

That side parking lot. Lot. Yeah. Okay. Okay.

31:42 – 31:587

This is where you guys usually dump the trash and we accumulate it. I don't think we're gonna dump it there because you guys are gonna be handing out stuff there as a reservation. The goal is to make this check-in straight, though. So we're gonna Melissa's gonna work with the my side.

31:580

Yeah. Actually, since you can't wait and got a soda, so we just got a Oh

32:011

my goodness.

32:02 – 32:140

Well, we are gonna, I think, probably do it straight where we're gonna check-in and then supplies, and then we're actually gonna do a separate station for the mapping. So the Kinda the

32:145

tables, like,

32:160

up altogether.

32:173

Good. Good.

32:180

So we do do the table setup, which leads me to Mohammad, are you gonna be able to do

32:252

that? Yeah. Sure.

32:260

Thank you so much. And Sandy.

32:270

safety? The safety will be with the giving out to

32:327

the. Yeah. Yeah.

32:330

Well, I think safety is gonna be while we're in the area where we're handing out supplies.

32:402

What time you'll be there?

32:42 – 32:590

Yeah. What time? Basically 07:30. I really, really would love it if you guys could be there by seven. I'm gonna be there even a little bit earlier than that. I If somebody comes by 07:30, fine. But it'd be great if people could be there by seven. That would be very much appreciated.

33:015

What did we advertise this year? I don't know. Go ahead. One second.

33:071

I mean, you start scrolling back how how is it

33:103

gonna be set up again for the for safety and supply.

33:140

Okay. So the first part that they're gonna come to is registration

33:190

Which Colleen has whipped it out and basically hired for us. This the lady woman, plus

33:291

Another another staff person, Theresa, will be there.

33:32 – 33:430

They do the registration for disposal days. These women are, like, experts in registration. So hallelujah, because they are gonna do that for us. Mhmm. Thank you.

33:43 – 34:081

Yeah. They'll check-in, people. We'll we'll supply them. You guys can have your two iPass for any troubleshooting or things you need to do. We all supply them with our streets division iPass so they can check people in. And, okay, that's they can clear through those people relatively fast. Mhmm. And then if they come across anyone that has not registered or they can't find their name, they'll have them step to the side so they can registered and then get back in to get

34:080

There will be three of us that will help people that have not preregistered or having sorry. One minute, Anna.

34:151

You're looking very fashionable up there. I'm telling you. That

34:210

is where we will come in, and we will be helped. The 33 of us will be taking the members that have not registered and helping them out.

34:291

And then and then you have Well, they're not gonna be holding on registration. You have enough of the

34:340

Yeah. I'm gonna have to have a lot of paper registration. What's that? I'm gonna do paper.

34:407

I didn't

34:405

think about paper. If

34:423

they don't take scammer too.

34:435

Yeah. They can still scam.

34:451

There's no paper registration that's all through Zeprite even for day of on-site. It's just so much easier to just Yeah. Have people step. They can so many people just get on their phone, they just do it.

34:550

We didn't even do that at the last cleanup.

34:573

Okay. So are you guys creating a QR code

35:001

for them? They don't. They can just go to

35:020

the website. We can show them just straight on the website and click on this, and they can make sure. Yeah. So

35:113

And so then where do they get I'm sorry. They still didn't get to the

35:15 – 35:490

I know. I'm trying to get there too and then let him sit down. Registration tables Mhmm. That will lead right into where we give away the Submit. The supplies. Mhmm. And I was personally thinking that in that section is where we would just also talk about safety out there, the safety. Okay. And have we have our stand, have all the safety information on it. Mhmm. And so that you got mapping capacity, it's last, and that's all you do. Isn't that right? So as I get to you guys, it's all about mapping. Okay. Okay.

35:49 – 36:061

I would just make a suggestion, mom. Maybe what you could do is do the safety talk after like, kinda in between where the mapping is and the supplies. So give them their supplies, and then somebody could catch them right there to give them a safe That's what I'm thinking. And then it kinda creates a buffer between crowd control a little bit before they get to Yeah. Mapping.

36:060

So I gotta figure out somebody to do the safety talks. Okay. If Tom's gonna be

36:145

Then they'll be same. What's the when they return, it'll be the Pretty much the same. Yeah.

36:210

But I think yeah. I mean, obviously, they're not being registered in front of

36:255

But, I mean, we're we're gonna take them wherever like we normally do. Mhmm. Like, testing. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Versus the end. Yeah.

36:330

And we will probably be giving we might be giving them I think we'll be giving them the tickets for lunch Mhmm. Upon arrival. Oh, okay. Yeah.

36:421

So That piece, I didn't remember to ask people. So I'm

36:450

just We took

36:463

time, it was a little

36:470

Oh, you know what?

36:483

Confusing. We

36:491

talked about in the meeting was they were gonna give you the food tickets when they came back and turned in their supplies. I think that's what they

36:55 – 37:210

Oh, right. Because we were like, they could lose them and all that stuff. So, yeah, they're gonna get so yep. That's what I gotta think about. Okay. Mhmm. Alright. I got my homework to do for tomorrow. Okay. So what else was I thinking about the Okay. So, basically oh. Is Tom gonna be there on Saturday? I hope so. Because he'd be really good at safety. Yes.

37:21 – 37:430

He would. Although, I have done tentative assignments for us for that day. Obviously, Blayla and Deborah during mapping. Sandy, I would like to kind of put you possibly with them in case they need some extra help because you know the city. You know, you have the map city in your head pretty much.

37:44 – 38:240

So and then me, Tom, and Mohamed. You Mohamed and Tom will be my bouncers at registration, and kinda like line control, you know, kinda helping guide Yeah. Where to go next, that kind of stuff. Because you I mean, you are adept at helping people register. You know, you'd be comfortable with this kind of stuff, I think. Tom thought we would too because there's basically only nine of us there. And then Shingo, Celia, and Chandu, I was hoping that you guys could do the giving away of the supplies. Does that sound doable for you guys?

38:251

What are we going to get?

38:27 – 38:380

You know, the grabbers, hand up the grabbers and the vests and the gloves and, you know, the. No. No. Swag is not happening till later. So we don't know.

38:39 – 38:566

So I had a question about that because are we part of the community fair? Because we're we're, like, the main event in the morning with the trash pickup and coordinating all that and getting people out into the community. But then the community fair starts when they come back. Oh, yeah. We we have a table.

38:560

Our table is right across from the

39:001

right across the registry. Yeah.

39:043

The neighborhood station?

39:05 – 39:160

It's Number 7. It's Number 7. It's right across from so I wanted it that way this year. Last year, we were all the way down by the rock climbing wall, which is the big yellow dot. Okay. Yeah.

39:161

I'm like, we don't have enough people to be

39:180

going all the way to oh, forget it. I'm like, we're right.

39:22 – 40:031

Just as a reminder for Yeah. The shift in task because the flow will be once people check-in you got 200 people registered. Not everybody who registered will show, and then a lot of people who didn't register will show. So you have a lot of people all at 08:00 because they all come at the same time, right, to start getting checked in. That's your busiest time. It'll die down. You'll have some time to decompress a little bit and then shift your focus to your booth. Yeah. So that when those people start coming back, your booth will be runny. You'll have to split, right, divide and conquer. You're gonna have some people receiving things back in. Right. You have people that you're doing you will also have the two ladies will stick around the whole class.

40:034

They're

40:031

12 so they can help you wherever you need. Yes.

40:06 – 40:420

I also may have two high school students recommended from Jeff that are desperate to get their volunteer hours, so we may have it. But I'm not banking on it in case they decide they've got something better to do. Hopefully, they'll be able and may I actually take this moment with our great youth commission members here? If any of you or any of you in the east commission wanna stop by and do something and get some extra hours that you may need. I mean, you're already doing the youth commission to get it, but we would always welcome you with open arms.

40:42 – 40:560

I could easily even if it's just for an hour or something, you know, just think about it. But, you know, know, it's great to coordinate. You know the I would actually like to add some mention to that. Yes.

40:563

Oh, actually, the commission already informed us about the bidding event, so you could expect the

41:00 – 41:330

large, partner workforce going to the event. My gosh. Thank you so much. Okay. Wonderful. Yeah. Well, you can't disturb me. But because that's so great. I mean, this is what it's about is not having our commissions working in silos crossover. So, you know, I mean, we can't all do that. But thank you so much, Youth Commission. That is wonderful. Seriously. Well, actually, if some of you come by, we may instead of having you pick up litter, we may have you help, like, at

41:331

the registration or something.

41:35 – 41:500

Is that okay with you guys? Yeah. Like, just tell your team that, you know, maybe maybe we'll have a couple of you help out there instead. You may sit down. Yeah. Okay.

41:507

You guys were over here. You had the truck and the trailer next to you.

41:53 – 42:087

So this year, I'm gonna try to find a spot closer as possible. That's out of the way that's safe Yes. Safe to you. So when we pull the trailer, it'd be right here first. K. So you guys can unload and do your thing, and then we're gonna move the truck trailer something.

42:08 – 42:210

Because, I mean, we can try to I don't I'm not wanting to, like, worry so much about unloading before we get all that registration set up and that so I don't even know if I care that you pull the trailer there first.

42:217

We'll try to because of safety issue. You're gonna have people registering and all those people at the tables, and you're then you're gonna move the truck and trailer there?

42:28 – 43:050

No. No. No. Oh. I'm saying we can we can walk a little ways back and forth to I'm gonna bring the big rolly cart. So I'm just saying you could just park it in one spot and leave it as close as you can, obviously, within reason. And when we get ready to set up our booth, we've got a huge new cart that I just used yesterday. And, you know, so we'll have enough people at that point to set up our our booth. So, less less moving around for you guys. Okay. I don't think I have anything else on that. Anybody have any other concerns or questions?

43:056

Yeah. I I have a question.

43:06 – 43:180

Yes. It's the sustainability department that's hosting and coordinating. Is that correct? Yes. Eric Pearson and Spellman's. It's the environmental services division.

43:18 – 43:436

Environmental services. Okay. Because it it looks like it's really tightly organized, and I always like to bring more people. And I don't know if that's I can't I need to ask around to get permission. I don't wanna just bring folks, like, to talk about SkyWest Sure. Or to promote youth commission, or can can we be expansive, or is it gonna be, like, really regimented?

43:440

I thought

43:454

So I'll I I I know They

43:470

granted Mimi, for instance, to sign up to get a table. I don't you know, for Skyward.

43:526

It's late because they locked it in.

43:550

I know. Well, I told about it. I told her about it a month ago. Yeah. So I don't know, Sandy, because of that. But if you have to register for a spot

44:056

Well, so I'll I'll I'll let you know when I found out. Just so Sure. Coordinated. Okay. Yeah.

44:110

Well, I mean, I just wanna

44:121

be clear. Are you saying that you wanna add add other groups to participate in your booth?

44:175

Yes. I

44:180

would. You guys are the Clean

44:201

and Green Commission in the city of Hayward. You can't share your booth with other agencies.

44:246

Because there's, like, a liability issue. K.

44:280

That's why I was asking Mimi to sign up.

44:31 – 44:466

Like Yeah. But it didn't it didn't happen, so I'm just trying to figure out things in my head. Because we just gather in the park, and and we, like, bring people around to other events where it's not so regimented, and we just talk. We just talk. We engage.

44:461

I mean, they're welcome to come.

44:470

I mean, yeah, they can still come and do that. Right? But they just

44:511

I just wanna caution you guys. When you guys are having a boom and you're representing the Cleaning Green Commission and the City of Hayward Yeah.

44:580

It's just you and I. Yep. No

45:01 – 45:311

other groups. So if you have other partnerships with other groups and things and agencies like that that you like, chair Bill was saying is you really have to encourage them to register to be a vendor on their own. And maybe there's a collaboration where they can be set up near you if you guys wanna be able to talk to each other or be nearby, but it's misrepresentation if you are having a keyword or sorry. A clean and green commission Yeah. A keyword booed, but you're having other things there.

45:316

Right.

45:35 – 46:091

So we went through this last year with former chair Hamlin with some groups who wanted to set up table at your cleanup events. Right. And I know that it has happened, but it really should not. Yeah. Because the city takes out a permit and an insurance on your events, and it's to cover you guys and your event. And we're only staging at the park. We don't have any rights outside of that to have other people join you. So they're not covered under the permit or the insurance. Have to be really careful.

46:11 – 46:310

Okay. Any last Oh, I know. I have one last question about that. What okay. So, like, Sandra and I are getting to the Eden Garden Club and Hundred K Trees. So could we represent them at the same booth? Nope. Nope. Making sure for you. So I didn't think so, but I wanted to verify.

46:311

You're wearing one hat.

46:33 – 46:440

But for this one, one hat. But it gets, like, 100 feet trees, and I think Eating Garden Club had a booth last year. Right? Eating Garden Club didn't? And we brought

46:446

we brought we brought Plantify along too. Oh. It it went away and

46:491

But other

46:49 – 47:020

how other groups do their stuff. They they if they're seeing it's they can do it together, that's fine. It's just CGC cannot. No. And and Colleen explained that Yeah. Really exact.

47:021

I did say, though. There is a little loophole that Jeff and I

47:060

Yes. I mean, it is. So

47:09 – 47:261

you could there's nothing stopping your groups from applying for a permit to have something in the same open space where a tap where Clean and Green Commission has their vents. It's just not I'm not sure that HAR would have proved two things on the same. Well, as an example

47:27 – 47:440

I was I was working with Trinity Signs for Eden Youth, and that was one where it was they came in with that. But I've explained to her, if Eden Youth ever wanted to be in one of our cleanup events, they contact HARD and ask if they could table at the same time.

47:441

Have to get their own permit. And part

47:460

of that is Whether they

47:481

require an insurance certificate or they require things to get a permit. But I they would have to go down that path themselves.

47:550

On their own. Right. We can't do it for them. Yeah.

47:581

But they told where we're gonna be and when. So if they wanna know and try to get a permit to be there too,

48:02 – 48:166

they So that you I mean, you know full well there's, like, limitations on community work like that. Like, there's no money. There's no money. So we have to utilize opportunities as best we can. We have.

48:205

Can we have waste management material at?

48:251

You guys should Yeah.

48:26 – 48:405

We have it. I think we do. Right? We have a lot of it. Yeah. So that it should be fine. Yes. We have. We are planning Because the City of Hamburg. Right. Yes. In contract with. Okay. Great. Because that you know, we do dumping and all that stuff. Yeah.

48:401

Yeah. Okay. Great.

48:425

Service provider for community. All that stuff up. Right. Okay. Yeah. Mhmm.

48:470

Just double check. Sure. Yeah. Good good questions.

48:521

The and by the way, waste management, I totally tried to Mhmm. They'll all they all have their own booths there so that you don't have to push me.

49:005

Over here.

49:011

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

49:025

No. I just meant on a regular basis. On a regular basis. Yeah. So that's it.

49:090

job. Thank you. I know. You are dressed.

49:121

Looks nice you are. Oh, thank you, Yeah.

49:317

Never in the game.

49:39 – 50:030

Can we kinda move on from Okay. Saturday then? Alright. Obviously, we all know what the cleanup schedule is for the for our attendance counting cleanup schedule is the next one will be 06:28. The next one after that will be 08:23, which will also include our adopt a block appreciation event.

50:03 – 50:480

And then the final one for the year will be October 18. I am not gonna go through where they are because you guys can all look back. Moving on to community events and activities. This one is gonna take a few minutes because, that is on page three of your agenda report, and I want you to definitely take a look at this one. Page three of the agenda. It's agenda page three. Where you see commute 10, Roman numeral 10. Community events and activities. Now the unfortunately, I already signed this up. The next one is actually on 05/31/2025. Youth Commission.

50:491

Welcome. Welcome. Open ears because

50:52 – 51:040

this is put on by Eden Youth. I already signed this up. It's called Reach for a Better Community. I forget exactly the location. This is a Saturday, and it is not Memorial Day weekend.

51:04 – 51:490

It is actually the weekend after the holiday. So my point here is that I need everybody to really look at this calendar and then take it home and look at your calendars and really consider what you can help with. Because I just did an event yesterday at Shabot all day, and I understand I didn't unfortunately, last meeting, I forgot to ask for some extra hands. And it was such a great event, but it was a lot of work for one person. Luckily, the rage students at Chubeau came couple of them really came through and helped out, which I wanna give a shout out to rage student Nayeli and rage student Maria.

51:49 – 52:010

They're all great, but they really backed me up. So thank you to those folks. And head of, maintenance, David. So met Chabot.

52:025

Met What was the event?

52:03 – 52:340

Like, what did The event was for Earth Week. Uh-huh. Their Earth Week event. And, yeah, just met great more great students, faculty, met Fred Clay who works in transportation for public works. He's a powerhouse, amazing person that commutes all the way from Santa Cruz to work for this city and is passionate about it as do some of our other people commute from far distances, Todd, Modesto.

52:35 – 53:170

So it was a really fun event, but I will not be doing another event by myself. So please look at the calendar. Not everybody has to do everything, but most of these require at least two to three people, and the downtown street parties require more. For those ones, though, I think what we're gonna do like we did last year is do shifts. Like, the beginning setup and middle and then middle breakdown. So, again, everybody's not getting overwhelmed and stressed out. That's my 2¢ on events that do not count towards attendance. But please start looking into the future and thinking about what you can or cannot do.

53:181

Yes. The Reach for Better Community Yes. On May 31 Uh-huh. Is from 10:30 to 02:30.

53:26 – 53:520

Okay. 10:30. At Sorensdale Park. At Sorensdale Park? Okay. I was I can't remember if this thought might be inside. Sorensdale Park, 10:30 to 02:30. So that's nice. It's not real early. And, you know, I don't know if we can have our trailer brought to that. Is that possible? That'd be possible? That's their I imagine it's I think it's fine. It's Saturday? It's Saturday.

53:522

Yeah. We can make that happen.

53:54 – 54:150

I mean, it may not, but, actually, for that, like, for Saturday, this Saturday, we are not using that storm drain model. It's a beautiful model that Jeff made, but it's gonna be too much. But for that Eden Youth one, that would be a really cool cool thing to have, but it is heavy. It's a lot to move. You know? So just to be able

54:151

to have it in the trailer would be great.

54:162

Just communicate with John or me, and we'll Okay. We'll take care of your sheep.

54:200

I know that's the it's coming up in a month, but we will have some a break.

54:251

Chairman, can you maybe call by show of hands if anyone's going to help you with that?

54:290

Sure. Yeah. That's right. Can we just poll tonight and see if anybody's interested tonight?

54:341

That's May 31. May 31. Saturday.

54:360

Saturday to 02:30. From 10:30 to 02:30.

54:402

From what time?

54:413

Weekends and holidays. Yeah.

54:435

10:30 to 02:30.

54:440

So that's

54:451

the event time. So, obviously, setup and breakdown will be a little bit of a longer day.

54:495

So we're doing a a cleanup? No. No. It's just an event to

54:530

It's kinda like the this Okay. Type of reasons. It's just a community outreach event.

54:585

Like Got it.

54:590

You bring your team. You talk about what you do. You meet people.

55:021

Got it.

55:03 – 55:380

They do it's a very family orientated thing. So there's kids. So last year, we went actually, Sandy and Gwen helped me at that one last year. And, unfortunately, I did not bring, like, the recycling game even, and so it wasn't like our booth wasn't that successful because we didn't have anything to do for the kids that came by. This year, we got tattoos. We got the recycling game. We don't wanna do storm thing. Fine. But I just need two people. That's it. Thank you, Mohammad. K. Wonderful. Alright. Just think about Or youth youth commission, think about coming to that one.

55:38 – 56:100

It's a very it's a cool event, or maybe anybody you might know. We are signed up for that. Okay. That's that's another I'm done asking on that one. Then Juneteenth. This is also tentative, which is June. We are not, like, official we have not officially asked for a a table at that event. So that would be less little less than a month.

56:101

That event is two to six. Right?

56:12 – 56:264

Two to six. And Yeah. No pressure. You it's not required. But if you wanna just attend and be, you know, attendee, you're more than welcome to do that as well. But we have about over close to 30 vendors already. So

56:260

Okay. Yeah. So That was actually kind of my thought is, frankly, I would just kinda like to go.

56:321

Yeah. That's that's been think it would be cool. Like, if

56:350

we do go, we could wear our T shirts.

56:374

And If you also just wanna drop off swag or the tattoos or anything where you don't want to set up and all that, just give them to me, and I'll and I'll put

56:45 – 57:040

it at one of the group. Kinda like just walk around, talk to people, and tell them about what we do. That that kinda They have a flyer with the QR code. If you wanna sign up, we're cleaning. That's great too. I kind of I'm kinda leaning towards that. Yeah. Tone better. So if anybody wants to just join me for a fun day of hanging out and representing KHCG.

57:053

Yeah. Are you doing sponsorships? We have tables?

57:09 – 57:214

Yes. We're doing sponsorships. And if you wanna sign up with vendors, it's with West Coast Makers. They're managing the vendors, thank goodness, this year. So I'm very excited about that. But yeah.

57:210

Perhaps that information is on the website?

57:23 – 57:444

The city is actually gonna be releasing a website, but I will well, a link to the City Of Gaylord website link will have all the information, but I can give you the information about sponsors, vendors, if you know anyone who is selling anything. We're trying to do by phone vendors for the day, But, any kind of information you wanna give out, for sure.

57:441

That's good.

57:440

Go to. Yeah. I I kinda feel bad because this is sort of like you kinda head up this event. Oh, like, we're not Don't feel bad. We're

57:521

You're not a good presenter.

57:540

No. We're not coming

57:554

to your event. You helped us attending. We do we do counts. So just body's there helps us. So same thing. Want you all to have a good time for the community.

58:040

I'm looking for a good. Good. So Well, thank you. So I don't know. My oh, sorry. Go ahead. Go ahead.

58:09 – 58:305

No. The best way then for people to sign up to you know, in terms of a cleanup event even though the event might not be posted yet. Right? I mean, for instance, for these events, are they already on the event? Right? Can people sign up, or they can only sign up within a certain time before the event? For York. Are you talking about for our events?

58:301

European events are live on the website and able to register. In fact, I think at least one person has.

58:365

So then the best way if we're out and about is to maybe have our, flyer, whatever. Yeah. And it has the QR code. Yes.

58:441

I printed a ton of those. Yeah. Know. They're in the trailer, and I printed some half sheets. Yep. I got them.

58:500

Oh, got okay.

58:51 – 59:045

So then I think it'd be good then for us to have those. Right? Because that's That would be the only way I think at that point in time for us to go around and go, you know, who you want signed for. And then, you know, they can use their phone.

59:040

Like, if somebody wants to come to this event Mhmm. I'll get you a flyer or some flyers before. We'll meet there. And Yeah. Yeah.

59:125

I think that'd be good.

59:130

Yeah. If

59:131

you guys have an interview with one

59:154

of our booths, like, the information booths, we can I'm sure if you do that. For sure.

59:19 – 59:310

Yep. Yeah. Okay. Sounds good. Okay. So my vote on that, we do a poll about the GMT. Our GMT. Do a poll or just decide.

59:311

Yeah. I talk to you guys if you want a table or not. Well,

59:34 – 59:510

okay. Poll my thing kind of unofficial motion would be, like, we're not gonna table, but that whoever wants to come can help promote KHC three at the event. So raise of hands if you agree on that. To attend in Is this for If you want to, not table. No tabling.

59:51 – 1:00:220

But just too much? Juneteenth. On Juneteenth, just we're not gonna table, but whoever wants to go and have a good time and represent KHCG and maybe reel in some more volunteers for our next cleanup event or B and G. And G. CGC. So

1:00:222

Yeah. We

1:00:231

can take you one of the. A

1:00:270

couple times. It's four to six? Two to six. It is.

1:00:322

Three to six.

1:00:341

Yeah. So just, again, it's not gonna be a tabling event. Yeah. You guys can just go out to the eater, enjoy yourselves, and maybe hand out some flyers if if it's

1:00:430

Whoever would and whoever would wanna go, you could just text me and say, yeah. I wanna go. We'll pick a meeting spot and grab a flyer and just come out.

1:00:531

Your where Where are your?

1:00:560

My gosh. You're so What

1:00:585

are you shirts? I know.

1:01:000

But it's

1:01:021

still a brand new thing. Right? Yeah.

1:01:040

Yeah. He does actually, our shirts should be here. We don't have a task force.

1:01:081

So Okay. You all got your new name?

1:01:110

Kat? Yeah. Your new Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Exciting. We're so

1:01:181

I put a fresh order on those. Would do it. And for Saturday.

1:01:25 – 1:01:370

So You mean our shirts are wrong? What, Zach? So does it mean that our shirts are all wrong? It's No. It's a call to action, so it's okay. It just says, yeah, keep It's looking for more flow. So it's all

1:01:371

It doesn't say task force.

1:01:380

The Clean and Green Commission slogan is keep hay

1:01:41 – 1:01:591

or clean and green. They're in business. Now I know I'm perfectly aware that you guys have some table menus that might say task force. I believe they say task force on them. So They're like their tablecloths. Yeah. Yeah. Don't let desktop view. It's okay. Yeah. You can use them, and and we will get you once

1:01:590

This is gonna be part of the education and outreach committee too. Help people learn about CG. Gwen and I were looking at the calendar in

1:02:086

the airport dates midweek. The date you have on there is Wednesday.

1:02:140

Night out. Yep. Because usually that's a Sunday. Yeah. It is. Yep.

1:02:201

Oh, yeah.

1:02:290

Casey. Yeah. Yeah. It is a it's Sunday. Yeah. She's the twenty eighth, I think. Sunday is the twenty first.

1:02:361

Well, not

1:02:38 – 1:02:540

Monday through twenty eighth. September 2025. The Sunday in September is September 28. It's twenty first. I'm sorry. It's What? September. That's Sunday. Twenty first. I 09/21.

1:02:541

So don't show up on Wednesday in the mail if you did.

1:02:583

Or we can show up and say, I was there.

1:03:010

Yeah. I'm not sure. I'm going to it on weekend. Think

1:03:061

Sorry for the typo, folks.

1:03:07 – 1:03:280

That's been Friday. Stop. Colleen, dang you. It's not here anywhere. Okay. Yeah. I think we can move on from that and go to council member activity. Council member updates. Yes. Yes, chair. It beeps so much.

1:03:29 – 1:03:584

Went to say that conference was just awarded for all his Yeah. And greening efforts throughout the city over the years to be there tonight. Also wanted to let you know that the capital improvements program was presented at the infrastructure committee. So if you have any questions, you can talk to Todd about that. We are having another budget session on May 8, and we'll be reviewing council priorities and projects then.

1:03:58 – 1:04:244

And then, I did announce the, citywide Weeks Park cleanup at the infrastructure committee and at City Hall, during the council meeting. So that event was announced. And, unfortunately, I am out of town during birthday, unfortunately. So I will be at work training that's right again Saturday out of town.

1:04:240

It's gonna affect your attendance.

1:04:264

I know. I'm so sorry. And then the the 05/30/2001, that's the Reach for a

1:04:311

Better Community event. Uh-huh.

1:04:32 – 1:04:474

I'm not gonna make it there either, but I recommend that you reach out to the Chabot Fire Safety Club if you're looking yeah. If you're looking for any, like, help with volunteers or someone to help table with someone, they are always looking for volunteer hours because they

1:04:47 – 1:05:020

have community service. They So they kicked it in the butt, or it was Really? They No. I hey. I'm going to the The last event. Yeah. So that's great. Yeah. Wonderful. I thanked them profusely. Yeah. So yeah. They're in the sixties.

1:05:023

Yeah. They were the last ones to come in, and they were the last ones to leave,

1:05:070

helped us. Yeah. They got it

1:05:083

up every day. It was nice. It's the.

1:05:131

I know. I know. And they

1:05:154

were all deep too. How many people were there?

1:05:17 – 1:05:350

It was, like, at least, like, seven or eight, maybe 10 of them, something like that. It was more than that. It's stupid. Yeah. Because I would get that bright thing. I have their names like Yeah. Well, all the. I'm sure. Could be that

1:05:351

they just didn't when they registered when he once when it says, are

1:05:380

you part of a group?

1:05:391

And he must say yes, and it says, what group? And he's supposed to type it in. They just did it.

1:05:430

Yeah. Yeah. They

1:05:44 – 1:05:574

I mean, they they did tell me that they pull a call. They they tell their group pay this event's coming up. They try to track everyone, but sometimes people just show up. Right. So the event I only needed ten and ten. Yep. Yeah.

1:05:571

It's kinda how the outbreak

1:05:58 – 1:06:210

No. I I'm in personal contact with Angel who is the through the RAGE students at Chabot. He comes to those meetings too. Okay. And he attends the I was gonna actually go to one of their meetings too just to thank him again. Yes. Because they're great. Yeah. The rage students are great. The first, they're great. And it yeah. It's awesome connection. Good. The youth commission's great. Everybody's great.

1:06:211

Mhmm. Alright. Thank you, chair. That's all I know.

1:06:230

Oh, thank you, council member Andrews. Staff updates. I have one brief one, which is one of

1:06:29 – 1:07:012

the beauties of electric vehicle technology. Your guys' truck has landed. We've got the graphic wrap designed. It was ready to be dropped off, and we got a recall from Ford. And the recall message, while we're waiting to for us to take it there said, do not park it indoors or around it. Anything flammable. Oh, no. It's not. So it's been sitting for a week and a half or so. We're waiting to get to San Leandro for, I would assume by the next event coming out of summer, you'll have it. So we're working on it, but just

1:07:010

Okay. It

1:07:012

didn't all come together. Holy. Oh,

1:07:040

okay. I I saw it. It's an amazing track, and I can't wait to learn how to drive and then take a camping for weekend. Yeah.

1:07:134

Tones are part of.

1:07:217

Glad to be part of this team.

1:07:230

Yeah. Thank you, guys.

1:07:247

Oh, yeah. I'm glad you got the doughnuts. Marion sent them up. Yeah.

1:07:290

Thank you. We need to get you a dozen doughnuts with hearts.

1:07:347

Well, thank you, guys. Have a good meeting.

1:07:360

Bye. Will we see you Saturday? Yeah.

1:07:397

I'll be there.

1:07:400

Awesome. Thank you, Tom.

1:07:417

With the doughnuts and coffee. Alright. See you guys in the next

1:07:466

day. Okay.

1:07:471

Good night.

1:07:49 – 1:08:230

I've been busy so much, Todd, because I'm trying to get us out of here fairly early tonight. Yeah. There's food downstairs. Oh, Last but not least, chair updates. And, basically, I think I've said all I need to say except that I want to give a couple of shout outs here. Thank you, Shingo. Thank you, Chandu. Thank thank you, Celia. George was gonna help too, but he had I didn't give him stuff in time. They have already done a lot of our seed envelope sticking.

1:08:23 – 1:08:450

And also so, actually, at this current moment, my mom is at home filling the packets with the seeds, and she's actually online watching us. Thanks, mom. Yeah. You. And so thanks for the extra help, and thank you, Shingo, for helping me get sucked down the other day at the shed.

1:08:461

Who else was I going to

1:08:48 – 1:09:050

think? Already got the kids. Honestly, I think that's it. I'm thank you so much all for coming this Saturday, and I'm sure we're gonna have a fun success successful event and more of those in the future. So I think that's a wrap.

1:09:061

I'm trying to eat.

1:09:070

Go get some food. Get

1:09:105

some rest. There we go.
