Thank you, oh Lord, for this day. As we come for the county business on this morning, we ask that you will be with us. In your name we ask. Amen. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. motion to approve uh minutes from June 12th. Okay. We have uh two corrections and um you're aware of them. Scott told me about them this morning. I think one was um in regard to Mr. Andrew White that was here for Mr. Keel last time. Uh, I think he said or I think maybe Brandon said that he was an attorney. He's not. Okay. All right. Well, I misheard, but I think it's been corrected that he is his real estate representative, which and then just a typographical error on the same page. Okay. Thank you for All right. Motion to approve with the necessary corrections. Somebody second. Moved and properly second. All in favor? Eyes have it. So it is site plan. Uh Delta Industries. Hello. My name is Kelly Harrington with
Delta Industries. Um, I'm here requesting a site plan for a readymix concrete plant next to the AWS site. Um, as you guys know, we went through the process of uh getting it permitted, but now we're wanting to submit our plan and putting that readym mix plan in. It's a temporary site to support the Amazon project. And so that's kind of what we're here to do. Questions? I entertain a motion. So move. Second. Motion and properly second. All in favor? I I has it. So it is. Thank you guys. Good morning. We were here previously. Uh we' gotten a conditional use for a temple. Uh we appreciate y'all's vote on that. And we are here today with our site plan. There's actually two buildings on the site. There's the actual temple and there's actually the family center, the dining and that that type of a use. Also on the site, you'll see we've got a soccer field and a couple basketball courts that are outside. The full site, if you look in the corner of your page, the full site, we're only using about a third of it up in in the uh northeast corner of the site. We have a floodway that's running right through the middle of the site. And then the lower area we're not disturbing. So um
we have uh elevations the landscaping for the project um of each building and I brought today color a color rendering of the building kind of a a light color it's a it's a brick building u both buildings are brick little bit of stuckco on the buildings also we're using light colors, kind of a cream colors, whites for the building. Now, this is connecting to the existing building, right? But there's not an existing building on site. No, sir. We're building two buildings. They will connect by a walkway to each other. Any questions? I do have just a couple. I think maybe just one for Andy, but um When we talk about the landscaping plans, um are there any additional things that they can do without coming before us since this is the site plan if they take away or add landscaping? Should they come or do they come back or is this what it is today? Because I I just I don't see very much detail. So, I'm just I think that'd probably be a more appropriate question for Scott. Okay. Um I mean certainly don't think that there would be anything wrong with adding two. Okay. They just can't take away as long as they wouldn't, you know, take away and and and you can see there's a lot of trees already on the site, existing trees, which we'll do everything we can to save any existing trees, especially in that floodway area. And what we tried to do is line the driveway coming in with landscaping with trees. Of course, all the islands that are out in the parking area will have trees and those those islands and then, you know, some landscaping around front of the building
as you're approaching it. The the other areas are kind of back behind the building. We didn't do any landscaping out there. Again, there's some natural trees that are around it, but we just wanted those areas left open just for mainly for the kids to run around out in the yards. uh we won't take away from it, but I can't say they might not want to come back and add seasonal flowers and little beds and stuff like that. That answers my question. I don't have anything else. Any other questions? I entertain a motion. So, it's moved and properly second. All in favor? Eyes have it. So, it is. Thank you, Todd Allen. I've never really done this before, so what am I supposed to do? Just introduce your name. Yeah. What? My name is Todd Allen. Um, we lease a piece of property. Um, and I think y'all have the plans. What I'm trying to do is build a a shed to keep my equipment under. All right. for clarification right now. Um, this site is that one commercial zoned parcel that's on Hawkins Thompson. Yes, that's it. That's it. Now, Mr. Allen is a tenant on that
property. Now, the the owner of that property had I think he's about cleaned all that up. He has cleaned it all up. Yeah. Thank God. Okay. We're just on the very end of the property. We have four and a half acres on the very tip of the property on the very end. I'm in a tree business and we've got a couple million dollars worth of equipment that's in the rain and I have to my my spider rigs. We have to tarp them every night because they're electronic and it's we just we just want to put a roof over them. We've got a fiveyear lease and if he doesn't sell us the property at the end of the lease, we're going to tear the building down and go build it somewhere else. So, there's some fencing. Uh going to fence this place in, dress it out. Sir, I I'm hard to hear. What are you going to fence it in, dress it out? We've already fenced the the front end. Um it it has a three railwood fence that we put up and we've limestone the parking area and the drive in coming in. What is on the um south and north side of that property? The south side of the property is a house within sight distance. Uh it's through the woods. It's few hundred yards away. There's probably 200 yards of woods in between our property line and the house. And you're not touching that?
Oh, we're not even close to it. Either way, we're pro we're probably 400 yards from the house that's on our side of the road. Now, there's houses on the other side of the road that are closer to us. And north of that is is where the logs were where the big junk pile was. That's north of us. Okay. I didn't get out there. See that? Any other questions? Entertain a motion. So move um all right on this building. Um the structure what exactly? It's a metal building. Correct. It's It's a pole barn. It's a pole. That's all it is. It's just a pole barn with a roof to keep equipment under. And it's got a a small area where you put hand tools and stuff that you can lock up. We don't even have electricity in it. So basically just to store your equipment. Yes, sir. It's just so we can pull equipment in and not have to tarp it every night. questions. Entertain a motion. I think Jean's already moved. Is there a second? I'll second. All right. Moved and properly second. All in favor? I eyes have it. So it is. Thank you. Thank you. Motion to open public hearing. So move. Second. Motion and properly second. All in favor?
I have it. Finch Properties. Good morning. My name is John Heg. I'm with Finch Properties. We have purchased uh some land off of Gus Green um from Meipto Incorporated and uh we are looking to amend the master plan. My understanding is that they had come and done a plan to do a like a high density neighborhood and we are coming in and not planning on doing that. We have uh are planning on doing using just uh personal use and um putting some u structures like a barnaminium um a little shop maintenance area and uh like a lakehouse out there and expanding the current little pond that's out there I think. So for family use. That's right. For family use. So it was this was approved in 21 previously. Yeah. This was a this was approved as he said as a residential development and there was some um a consternation about coming through uh was it Lake Castle? No, Newcastle. Newcastle, I'm sorry. Uh all all of that was ultimately resolved. Um but obviously never came to fruition and they purchased the property and different concept and it's a total of7.16 acres. Yes. In the original master that Peter Deler brought forward. There was to be no access to Newcastle and that that still applies. You
Oh, yeah. There you're still on that. He is accessing this property from Gus Green Road. So, he will not be going through Newcastle. Okay. So, is going to be the only entrance? Yes, sir. Any other questions? Any opposition? I entertain a motion. Second. Motion and properly second. All in favor? I have it. So, Brandon Ke. Thank you. Good morning. My name is Brandon Keel. Um I was here last month with the resoning for a residential development. Um and I asked that we table this till August that we're currently in um talks with the neighboring HOA on a solution um that's makes them happy and us happy. Um, so I just ask that we can table this till next month. We should have a a compromise by then. All right. Motion to table. Motion and proper second. All in favor? Eyes have it. So it is table. Thank you. He's on number seven, too. Just just so the record's clean. Uh, Brandon, I'm assuming that you're going to ask the same on that. Yes, sir, I am. I ask that we can table number seven as well. All right. Entertain the motion. So move second motion and properly second. All in favor? Eyes have it. So is
motion to close public hearing. So move second. All in favor. Motion to accept August meeting the 14th of August 2nd Thursday. So move. All in favor? Eyes have it. So it is. Motion to adjurnn. Second. All in favor? So it is.
