to order. Roll call. Everybody is here. Commissioner, Commission, Commissioner Rener, Commissioner Bennett, Planner Ben, myself Greg, Tom, and Tom. Item two, discussion and action items. Item A, review, discussion, and possible action of amendment to the village zoning, section 16.41 and section 16.42 42 pertaining to increasing maximum building heights from 35 to 45 ft in B4 zoning district and from 35 to 60 ft in I1 zoning district. Ben, so as we discussed at our special meeting on May 15, um the planning commission considered uh frankly all of the you know business districts. Um I have researched this. I confirmed with uh the fire departments uh for the village big bend as well as neighboring uh uh responding fire departments that would respond in kind. They did confirm that increasing the height from 35 to 45 and B4 and from 35 to 60 ft in I1 would be an appropriate step up that they could handle that and address any um concerns uh from that end of things. And the height allowances were in line with other communities nearby. Um so and with that being said um I've prepared the actual ordinance amendment which does reflect as such and I don't and I think everybody can confirm nobody um express any concern during the public hearing portion. So therefore staff is recommending um that planning commission take action with a motion and a second to uh recommend to the village board to increase the heights as such for the B4 and the I1 zoning districts.
Do you have any comments or discussion? Pretty good. Okay. Just approving the ordinance. We're recommending approval of the Make a motion to approve the the ordinance as stated by planner. I'll second. Any further discussion? All in favor? I opposed. Motion carries. Make motion. Second. Got a motion to second. Any further discussion? All in favor? I opposed. You are thanks down. Poof.
