Yes. Thank you very much, Chair Bell. That's correct. Commissioner Ward was the chair of the RIPA ad hoc committee, along with Commissioner Lundy, who's on that, as well as myself. Commissioner Ward took a laboring oar on the development of this chart, that's included within the report.
As I indicated at the last meeting, my motion had been to move this forward to the City Council's Safety, Wellness and Youth Commission or committee, rather. And recommendation was that we make some changes to there were some edits that needed to be made to this the attachments. I think there are some additional, edits that we do need to make. So I would like to recommend motion that we continue this RIPA item to the May meeting and that the report be, revised to clarify what actions the CPRC is recommending that the Safety, Wellness and Youth Committee take with respect to the city's RIPA data.

did review a couple of the Los Angeles Police Review Commission recordings that were available, and it was interesting. So I would encourage people to do that. Thank you.
I attended the reception for the boards commissions, and I just wanted to say it was it's nice that they have that for us every year. And I know that you guys didn't get a chance to attend, but just wanted to extend my appreciation for them having that.
Awesome. And that was here. Correct?
Yes. Awesome.
Ten on the thirty first, the training that we had for all of the commissioners, and it was sort of nice getting to meet some of the other board members that were here. I believe it was three of us that made it that night. Natasha and Commissioner Ward, we were all there and it was a very good information, especially when you're a newbie, you get to see the big picture. I'm now connecting in the dots. It was a little lengthy though, but other than that, I made it.
Thank you. Thank you. Alrighty. Ad hoc committee update, racial and identity profiling act. Do we have any further updates on that? Alright. Ad hoc committee updates, RPD complaint process.
Yeah, so we've met twice. I believe we're finished. We made some recommendations. Those recommendations have been accepted. We should put this item on the agenda for next meeting, so we can finalize that and share those results with the full commission.
Okay. And that's more of just a review of letting the commissioners know, right? Correct. I don't think we have a motion or anything for that?
No, no there's no discussion that's required or anything like that, just letting the commission know the outcome of the ad hoc.
Awesome. Thank you. Are you ready to do that now, if you wanted to? Or we can put it next month?
I think we have to put it on the agenda. I don't have a copy of the before and after of that document, so we should probably put it on next month's agenda. Okay.
Riverside Police Department updates. I have a I have a question for you. I know in the past, we've had a couple notifications about officer involved deaths of people that were in custody or affected. Do we have any updates on the two, I believe, that we received in the last when when we will start to see some of that information?
Yeah. I'm just waiting for, for our briefing on it because it did not involve a use of force where there's a use of force review, so I plan on having something about that next month. Neither one of them involved a use of force. It was, probably drug related, death, like, in the back of a police car. So I'll have some more information for you on next month on that.
What about the one from last June at McDonald's?
Yeah. We're waiting for the coroner to release the the the coroner's results for that. Our part in that is completely finished. We're just waiting on the county.
Okay. Yes. Awesome.
Thank you. Appreciate it. Anybody else have any more questions? No? Thank you.
Alrighty. City manager's office updates.
Just a brief update. The city manager, Mike Crotrell, notified the city yesterday that he will be leaving the city and joining, another agency. His last day will be May 11.
Oh, please thank him for his his time. I think he's contributed well to to the city. Are there any items for future Community Police Review Commission consideration?
Besides that, the agenda item for the I have it. Awesome.
Frank, did you have any updates or comments that you
wanna share? No. But thank you
for asking. Thank you. Alrighty. The next regular Community Police Review Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 05/27/2026 at 05:30. The meeting is adjourned at 06:15. Thank you.
