Approval of Council Minutes of September 14, 2026. Council Concur

Mayor Pavone Appoints Tayna Zasada and Genevieve Henderson and reappoints Cathy Martinez to fill Businesses Required to Collect Lodging Tax vacant positions and Angela Mose, Robert Simonds, and Vasudha Sharma to fill Persons Involved in Activities Authorized to be Funded by Lodging Tax Revenue vacant positions, to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee with terms expiring December 31, 2027. Refer to Community Services Committee

Executive Services Department – IT Division recommends approval of Amendment No. 13 to CAG-20-154, vendor Insight Public Sector, in the amount of $1,614,983.73 to renew the city’s Microsoft M365 Enterprise agreement for three years. Refer to Finance Committee

Community & Economic Development Department – Development Engineering Division recommends adoption of a resolution authorizing the temporary closure of 105th PI SE at the intersection of 105th PI SE and SE Carr Rd from September 26, 2026, through September 27, 2026, with alternate dates being October 3-4, 2026, October 10-11, 2026, or October 17-18, 2026 to allow King County Metro to install final paving and intersection improvements at that location. Council Concur

Community & Economic Development Department – Development Engineering Division recommends adoption of a resolution authorizing an extension of the temporary closure of Logan Ave S, between the Transit Center Access Rd and S 3rd St from October 2nd, 2026, through February 28th, 2027, to maintain a safe pedestrian connection for the opening of Renton Market and other community events occurring this fall and winter. Council Concur

Public Works Department – Administration recommends approval of a reorganization that structurally and functionally realigns all department positions that maintain and operate GIS and Asset Management into the Utility Systems Division. This realignment allows for all public work divisions to access and utilize GIS and Asset Management information uniformly so that the information can be used to assist management with asset replacement prioritization. Refer to Finance Committee

Public Works Department – Transportation Systems Division reports bid opening on September 8, 2026, for the 2026 Overlay project CAG-26-216, and recommends awarding the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Tucci & Sons, LLC, in the amount of $1,202,001. Council Concur

Public Works Department – Utility Systems Division recommends adoption of three separate ordinances (ORDs 6201, 6202, and 6203) that revise Renton Municipal Code (RMC) Title VIII – Health and Sanitation and Title V – Finance and Business Regulations by amending and codifying regulations related to Low-Income Senior and/or Disabled Rates, Utility Payment Priority, and Utility Tax Relief. Transportation Committee: 1) Appointments to the Renton Airport Advisory Committee

Resolution No. 4599: A Resolution of the City of Renton, Washington, authorizing Temporary Full Street Closure of 105th PI SE at the Intersection of 105th PI SE and SE Carr Rd. (*See Item 6.d*)

Ordinance No. 6204: An Ordinance of the City of Renton, Washington, amending subsections 4-1-240.A and 4-9-150.E.1 through 2 of the Renton Municipal Code; amending Common Open Space Substitution Applicability and Planned Urban Development Residential Open Space Standards; authorizing corrections; providing for severability; and establishing an effective date.
