Fiscal Committee - Regular Meeting

So it is 6.30. Now we are officially starting the fiscal committee meeting. And we have Andy George, Chris O'Brien, and Prasad Tunga, the chair from the fiscal. Anybody else from fiscal here I'm missing? Okay. I think Adam's on, right?

Yes. Adam is fiscal, I think. Yes. So that's the call to order. We have just one resolution for today. And I would like to read it out. I would like to move to move to. you know, read this resolution. Do I need a second before I read, right?

So resolution number 66, be it resolved that on the recommendation of the superintendent of schools that the board of education approved the attached 2026-27 purchases for six special education students requiring out of district tuition at a total cost of $1,114,732.50. Do I have a second? I'll second. Okay. Andy George, second. Do we have any discussion? Committee members first. Do I see any hands? No hands. Noncommittee members? Any discussion? Rebecca, are you raising your hand? Okay, go ahead.

Are these new students or additional students to the 240 that we have outplaced? These are continuing placements. Thank you.

Okay. So Amy, these are six students are already in the, so this has to be approved every year, even though they're already in the system. Okay.
