The City of Costa Mesa has completed two rounds of public visioning as part of the Neighborhoods Where We All Belong effort to implement housing element programs and rezone Measure K sites. As we head into Round 3, the City has prepared draft zoning and other regulatory documents to supplement the rezoning of Measure K sites. The City is seeking your input on draft regulations to encourage and facilitate home building. The documents are available online at CostaMesaNeighborhoods.com. Click on Comment on Draft Zoning Updates, then scroll to the word here to see the draft files. Then select Draft Zoning Code Amendments, Objective Design Standards, or Proposed Amendments to General Plan Elements and Specific Plans. provide your comments through an online comment form on the project website or by emailing neighborhoods at costamesaca.gov through June 15th. In addition to these documents, the draft housing elements will be available for public review and comment from June 8th through the 15th on the same website. You can also join us at an open house on Wednesday, June 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Costa Mesa Senior Center to discuss the proposed regulations.
