County Commission - Regular Meeting

Y'all good? Everybody good? Like to call to order the county commission meeting for December 15th. Commissioner Gray, release some prayer. Father, we thank you for conding of this commission are done with careful consideration for the betterment of our community. Be with our emergency personnel and keep them safe as they put their lives in harm's way every day. And we are forever grateful to our veterans who serve or have served our nation. It's good to see all of you here tonight. First order of business is the approval of the minutes of the November 17th regular session. Open up the floor for a motion. Agriculture extension committee. Um there was there a change on this? Uh Commissioner Simkins.

Um Miss Allison's here tonight. Um I'd like for her to stand up and tell us about Miss Christine Hall. uh just kind of give her an idea who she is and the affiliation she has with the UT extension. Yeah.

Come on up then. Come on up. Hall has been um a member of our FCE club for the past several years, family and community education clubs. Her children were active in 4 throughout their time. Uh one has graduated from UT and another of her children is there now. Um and she's an active 4 volunteer for us with our sewing club. Okay. Thank you.

This is with the interlocal agreement where we will take on the payroll duties for the 911 board director uh to be reimbursed by the 911 board. Open the floor for a motion. Item number two is resolutions Harper's Ridge Fire Department. This is a resolution authorize the county and may merit to accept conveyance of certain real property from Harper Bridge Volunteer Fire Department to construct a building on the property and lease the building back. I don't know whether that was the the reason why he that he couldn't be here to tell us that his birthday was coming up or not, but he has got a defense. I'm going to take up for There you go. He's 80 in case you're wondering what I'm saying. Well, I hope uh I want to thank everybody for coming tonight. Uh particularly uh my chief deputy Starore who's with us. She she's the one that organized this and got it all put together. So, thank you. and had good and Terry Malone helped. But no, I really appreciate it. Uh, you know, and that we we always have a good time and get a lot of good work done. But thank you for everything you do for this county. And so from me and the Ry family, merry Christmas. I hope you have a great holiday season. And uh, we don't see you before, we'll see you on January the 5th. So, uh, there's no other announcements to be made.
