okay welcome to the council closed session we're going to go into closed session for a personnel matter and i'm going to recognize the vice mayor for a motion thank you mayor i move that the aspen city council go into closed session for the following reasons one to protect disclosure of information that is privileged and confidential pursuant to the laws of north carolina or not considered a public record within the meaning of chapter 132 of the general statutes The statutory authorization is contained in North Carolina General Statute section 143-318.11 . The law that makes the information privileged and confidential is North Carolina General Statute section 143-318.10 . And two, to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee. The statutory authorization is contained in North Carolina General Statute section 143-318.11 . Second. We have a motion and a second.
