I do have a statement before we vote. I am abstaining from voting on this matter due to a direct professional relationship with the candidate as he serves as my supervisor. I believe it's appropriate to recuse recuse myself. I would also like to state that I fully support Chief Repkey's appointments. He is extremely wellqualified, possesses exceptional leadership and professional expertise in this area and I have the utmost confidence in his ability to serve in this role effectively.
