Aye. Moving on to new business. Mr. Schweiker, you have resolutions 109 and 110.

Yes, good evening board 109 is to authorize up the equipment for a truck that we purchased a replacement vehicle back in August. This is to include a service body crane and some other up the materials to this truck to help us better serve the community faster response for storm. Emergencies in situations like that. We provided 3 quotes is documented out in the the memorandum be happy to answer any questions regarding this up that equipment.

Thank you. And Resolution 110 is to purchase rock salt for the upcoming winter season. I'd like to touch on that we participate with 93 other agencies in Southwest Ohio to do a collective bidding process. Due to the fact of this previous winter, and explained in the documents provided for this resolution, the pricing per ton went up 64%, I believe, to $122.50 a ton. We only received one bid for a potential multi-year bid packet along with many other jurisdictions. So we'll navigate next year when that time comes. But for this upcoming season, I'm recommending to go with Champion Landscape Supply, who was our sole bidder. this upcoming season and due to the increase in salt we will do everything in our power to not negate services but we'll try and find additional ways to be creative so that way we're not blowing through the budget on on rock salt have to do additional fund transfers but just will be mindful this upcoming season still deliver the services that are expected to the residents and I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding the rock salt resolution

Mr. Carlson, do you have resolutions 111 and 112?

Yes. Good evening, Board. Resolution 111 is a resolution to authorize participation in ODOT's bidding process for the Kingsridge Drive pedestrian improvements. It's hard to believe, but the initial project agreement for Kingsridge Drive we entered into just over three years ago. So this process is kind of coming to the end. We're getting ready to bid. This is ODOT's chance to say, hey, before we take this to bid, are you still up for the project? Are we still moving things forward? So it's sort of a housekeeping item. There's no real new obligation here, but it is saying, yes, we do want to participate in your bid process. Are there any questions? Any questions?

And the resolution 112 is to authorize the township minister to execute agreement with Volkert for right of way acquisition for the State Route 741 pedestrian improvement projects. We are through phase two engineering for the Spring Bird Pike Pathway projects and are now in the phase where we need to start acquiring some temporary and some permanent right of way. So this would allow us to execute agreement with Volkert with ODOT as well to start the right-of-way planning and procedure acquisition. Do you have any questions on this one?

Just run a brief one. I don't usually mention anything about developments that's not our realm. But Public Works was invited to the Wawa grand opening, where we did a sandwich making contest with members from administration and the board. And I like to say that we were crowned champions in the sandwich making and brought home a trophy. So it's right at our nice Public Works entrance for everyone to enjoy. But it was a good time, and thanks for the invitation.

I'm excited your other skills have been recognized. Mr. Carlson.

i want to apologize to administration i was not able to make it to the sandwich making contest it may have turned out differently so that's my first comment my second is i just want to express my appreciation to the board for all the work that we've been able to do so far on the kingsridge drive street skate project this project was first placed into a township comprehensive plan in 1996 so we are coming up on 30 years from when it was first suggested We're a long way out from that initial suggestion, but again, appreciate the board allowing us to move forward on some of these projects to improve our community. Really excited to get some of these under our belt. And I think we have several more in the queue. So again, appreciate all the support.

Just a brief comment. The auditor of state released our financial audits for fiscal year end in 12, 31, 25. So they're out on the website, township website, and also through the auditor of state.

I'd like to congratulate the Public Works Department on their win at Wawa, and thank you to everybody in the township. That was a great turnout, and I apologize to the administrative staff that I couldn't do better on the hoagie-making contest. If there's ever another opportunity, we'll get them next time.
