16:18 – 17:000

They told me they wanted to start uh they wanted to start today and I told them there was no way they could start today unless they were assuming full cost. You can't start assuming C. And so yeah, we even negotiated. It started off they wanted us to pay for all. We worked out them covering half of it obviously but it was the whole process less than five. Nobody get started this week. Attorneys Energy can't five days. So they can't come up with that. Oh no. A whole different I know. Well, they they have directors from Cleveland and their attorney is from Greenville. That's why

17:02 – 17:450

months I fight energy all the time. several several once they tell you it's problem. If you want to go talk about them, I'll sit down afterwards and talk all you want. I'm really about happy. Uh Christian, I'm just seeking approval from my advisor board. Do we have a list of them? They were included in Dropbox the facilities. um days were when he well when he submitted his will they're I think they're essentially what you've been doing. I don't know if anything for the most part

17:44 – 18:130

Well, their names weren't in there, right? They were on his his meeting minutes. He um the the meeting minutes were page um six of his report. You're approving the fees that were recommended by the advisory board.

18:20 – 19:020

I think we emailed that. You did. But I I only have questions about I said you have percent I would rather have number because percent based on so if you will so the percentages are based on the registrations right I would like just number Right. Probably

18:59 – 19:410

those uh so reason I did percentages like number if you look at the registration like I can send you number kids. So the birth rate and everything going down the number of kids in our city limit down. the numbers being down. You included both, right? Yeah. I would like to have baseball starts tomorrow. Starts tomorrow. How many So, how many fields are we using?

19:42 – 20:210

All right. So, what what are you doing about work out there? Because Danny and I went out there the other day and it's just one man working all those fields. I mean that that's not even possible. So my supervisor guys they should be out either out there with him cutting grass he has four people that work under him right yeah but three of them were cutting grass. Yeah. I mean worked in nine fields. Well, the day we went out there, he said he had no help whatsoever. And he he assigns their work.

20:20 – 21:000

Okay. Because I mean when the season starts, one person cannot keep up nine bills. So we we took a different path every morning after. Okay. Robert, you made a motion for the fees and for the fees. Motion by Robert. Second by Zinc. Danny. No, you got second. Mar Danny Danny. Okay. All those in favor.

21:13 – 21:510

Okay. Lady B have a couple of things tonight. So, um, the Delta Children's Advocacy Center has requested, um, permission to, um, place their child abuse awareness flags for the month of April, uh, like they did last year. Um, last year they came in and spoke to the board. Um, and, uh, the board gave them permission not to put them downtown, but to put them on the highway. and they're asking for the same have the same request this year.

21:57 – 22:310

I would ask come back they I think they did send a report um or in the proclamation that was in the consu agenda I think it gives some details about some things. If not, I can I can get a report from them if you'd like or I can ask them to come before the board. Okay, we need a motion. I'll make a motion. Motion, Gary. Second it. Second with T. All in favor?

22:28 – 23:030

Okay. Um and then the only other item I have is um at the last meeting the mayor had asked that the board consider changing the meeting time for the second monthly meeting. So, I'd ask that there be a discussion about the change to that meeting time. I'd like to see it move it to a Monday. Keep it same night at 5:30. First, well, I I always want consistent 8:30. We are having problems with people already gone to work

23:01 – 23:450

and you know, so we do first and third Monday at 5:30 just like we do this Monday. Yeah, but not Monday. Get away from the Tuesday deal. Yeah. Just so Just so it's they're both on the same day and tell this one's on Monday, this one's on Tuesday. Keep them both Monday. 5:30. 5:30. No. Is that okay? I second that. If it needs to be We have a motion. We need a motion. Motion by Gary, second by Danny. All those in favor? Well, since one we got posted for got to advertise I don't 60 days or more before

23:41 – 24:260

I'll let I'll let you know and I'll be I think I just have to advertise. Okay. You'll get it by the second meeting. That's right. That's right. I think I'll I'll have time to advertise for the second meeting. Yeah. Okay. Oh, y'all all have the um I just do want to mention you all have the invitation from Delta State for their um centennial under the stars. This is the final event for the Delta State Centennial that's been taking place this year and it's culminating in this grand event. Um so I just want to be sure that everyone notices this invitation. Um

24:24 – 25:080

and you get a discount. Um that's right. But this this invitation is for the alderman that they don't have to they are invited as a courtesy. Mayor Mayor and board well you moved too fast from um mayor and board are invited as a courtesy. Uh employees uh I do want to say this while we're on employees can u purchase tickets at a discount. I'll send you that um QR code. So if you would like to um purchase tickets yourselves. That's right. That's right. You like watching light drones.

25:06 – 25:440

That's right. So that's all I have. Mayor. All right. Uh on the table. Robert Heather Heather. H human resources. I got to move my glass. Sorry about that. That's okay. I have action recommendations. So move by Gary, second by Brian. All those in favor? I opposed.

25:45 – 26:300

And the last thing is the approval of the donated policy. So we all talked about this particular and brought to you for your approval. I didn't see it. Yes, ma'am. When was it loaded? It was loaded this afternoon. We had some Yes, ma'am. It was loaded early early afternoon. Yeah. Put putting this in a little earlier. Well, we we had some trouble this afternoon. So,

26:30 – 27:010

I'm still having I'm still having problems and and I'll tell you, uh, Miss WZ, it it's my fault that it wasn't loaded any any earlier. It's not Heather's. I had computer problems today. So, um, that's the reason it didn't get loaded any earlier because I wanted to do a final review on it before it got loaded. and um my computer went kaput today and so we had to get it back up and going. So that's the reason it didn't get loaded any earlier. It's it's not on Heather. Okay.

27:04 – 27:440

Would you like table it till two weeks so that she has do we have an immediate need for We do have an immediate need. We got some frequently. It establishes a structured process that is um only for eligible employees who have exhausted their approved leave. Um this is completely volunteer for anyone that wants to participate in it.
