The agreement establishes the terms and conditions under which Nye County will provide secure detention services, including inmate care, custody, housing, transportation responsibilities, medical services, and reimbursement rates.

For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding a Program Funding Application from Beatty Health and Welfare, Inc. to fund Beatty Clinic operations in the amount of $9,600.00 to be funded from 10285, Health Clinics Fund.

For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding a Program Funding Application from Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 15 to fund the Veteran Service Officer’s (VSO) office located in the Lobby of the Desert View Hospital in the amount of $7,450.00 to be funded from 10210 Veterans Services Fund.

Approve, amend and approve, or reject Task Order No. 13 between AtkinsRealis USA, Inc and Nye County to provide environmental, planning, design and bidding phase services for the regrading of the Runway Safety Area (RSA) at the Beatty Airport in an amount not to exceed $84,731.00;

Execute the task order; and

Fund from 10340 Grants.

Approve, amend and approve, or reject the Broadband Infrastructure Construction and Right-of-Way Access Agreement between Nye County and Stimulus Technologies of Nevada LLC, in substantially the same form and substance as presented; and

Execute the agreement.

For Possible Action – Presentation by Kevin Hickey, the Nevada Rural Housing Homeownership Programs Manager regarding a Nye County progress report, and discussion and deliberation to adopt, amend and adopt or reject Nye County Resolution No. 2026-13: A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Nye County, Nevada Providing for the Transfer of the County’s 2026 Private Activity Bond Volume Cap to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority.
