call to to order the special meeting of the um board of aldermen for monday july 13th um do i hear a motion for approval of the agenda motion to approve do i hear a second second all in favor aye all right so we are going to go into closed session Motion to go into closed session.

all right all right um nope okay motion to come out of closed session motion to come out of close do i hear a second second all right uh i'll approve all forward all right all right no action was taken in closed session i'd like a motion to approve an employment agreement for the new town manager do i hear a motion

Motion to approve a contract to hire a new town manager.

Do I hear a second? Second. Discussion? All right, let me just do a couple of things. We start and then we'll vote on it. We went through a headhunter and this. We had over 100 applications for the job. the board did some in-person interviews, um, with these individuals, um, and the individual that, um, we have chosen as a board is consistent with the, uh, the contract will be, um, what is available now because we're tendering it right now, uh, to those type of things. So I think in terms of, uh, the qualifications in terms of the, The contract, which is consistent with contract we have done in the past. Is there anything else that I wanted to add? Do you guys remember? What's that? Yes, and the individual that we have identified make sure it's stephanie c dollinger and we are very welcoming to have her and join us as soon as she can so with that um all in favor aye all opposed none all right so um motion to adjourn motion to adjourn second all in favor
