Okay. First, we'll open a public hearing on resolution 2026-14, a resolution of the City of Redmond to make budget adjustments for fiscal year 2025-26 to the wastewater fund. Jason and Rita.

Hi, good afternoon, Mayor and Council. My name is Herlinda Corn. I'm a budget analyst here at the City of Redmond. Joining me is Deputy City Manager and CFO Jason Neff. And this afternoon we come to you with a budget adjustment for the wastewater fund, really in relation to the Redmond Wetlands Complex. So just a really brief project update of why we're here this afternoon. The project remains on schedule, but because of the favorable winter conditions, they have allowed several components to progress ahead of plan, and those components are the interceptor pipe, the lagoons, and as you see in that picture, the administration building. So with that said, because of that larger share of cost coming up this fiscal year, we do anticipate a decrease in cost of following in future fiscal years. The major components of the project still, the major cost and funding for the project still remain the same. And per Oregon budget law, any budget adjustment over 10% just requires different noticing, therefore requiring a special council meeting. So with that said, we're just asking for a budget adjustment of $8.5 million for the wastewater fund to recognize the loan as well as the additional expenditures. And with that, we're happy to answer any questions you could have.

Yes, more money this year, less money next year.

Right, we're gonna coordinate with them about how they want this to go. We have a couple different categories on the entry form and we'll sort out how we're gonna award the ribbons.

Have they put anything out to let people know you can have these different categories to dress your pets in? Because that would be kind of probably helpful.

Yes, the categories are on the form. So there'll be a table adjacent to the stage that is the city check-in table. That's where the pies will be. And then we'll work on some tasting and judging. Pretty simple.

Yes, where the vendor, the event vendor is working on a map that's gonna be very high level for the public of like here's where the music is and the free food and the kids stuff. And then there'll be an event run of show kind of similar to the kind of detail that's on this but more high level to hand out to the public of here's what's happening when. so in her email she does state she needs a volunteer to drive the fire truck to and from the fire station so you've got the white truck but she's also expecting someone to just drive the fire truck by itself i thought the fire truck was just coming for friday night it could be just for friday night that could be okay so yeah we just need to make sure somebody can drive it over for here yeah she said she needs it driven over here on the third and i expressed

So July 3rd, what will happen is the fire station staff, they will be delivering the actual red, the antique fire engine to our spot right by the parking lot to where you can have all the photo shooting with the general public. And then at eight o'clock they will come and pick it up and take it back to the fire station. The fire engine will only be for photo shooting. And then I will also have fleet. They will deliver the F-150. It's a white City Hall logo vehicle that will be delivered here at City Hall to where I can have it decorated. So they're trying to make it as convenient for us to where we can have it right here so we can have it decorated. And then it'll be easy for you guys to transport that vehicle to the spot to check in.

If we have wind or inclement weather the day before, do we have a way to shelter the vehicle? I'm assuming there's bunting and streamers and stuff on it, which don't... Just like with your cooperation in helping me decorate it. This will be the first time with me decorating a different vehicle. It was easy for me to decorate the antique truck because I could use zip ties to tie it down and everything. Now we're using a different truck for your convenience. So now, Catherine has volunteered and Clifford has volunteered to help me try to decorate that truck for you guys.

But I told them because the steps is a little high, I will have the steps here inside the truck. I will also have steps there for you so you can sit.
