Thank you, Mr. President. I have a couple things if everybody bear with me. Uh this past Saturday, the Parma Bar Association hosted its founders night and the Don Ryman Award, the highest honor the Parmab Bar Association bestows upon its members was given to Pat Durro, our chief prosecutor and assistant law director and also magistrate in neighboring communities. Uh he was given this high award for his decades of dedication to justice and the lasting impact he's made on uh our community and the surrounding community. Uh but most of all in recognition of his outstanding service to the legal profession. So I think it'd be uh fitting to give a little round of applause for uh prosecutor.
Anything you'd like to add director on? Uh it's welld deserved. Uh everybody in this room knows Pat Diurro. Pat's worked slavishly for the city for decades. Uh there isn't a court that I go to that doesn't know Pat. Ask me about Pat. Pat knows everyone. Everyone's baiff. Everyone's prosecutor. They know him. They respect him. He's a fantastic person. He's a fantastic attorney. There's no person that would deserve those accolades more than Pat. Uh Pat's really a humble person. If anybody had the opportunity to hear Pat speak at the Parma Bar Association Mayor's Court Training, he talked about how he finds himself in these positions because he's available. Uh available is not the right word. Uh Pat's not just available, Pat's present. Pat doesn't just show up. Pat gives you everything. Pat uh is always there physically, mentally, spiritually, 100%. He gives us all to the job. And again, nobody deserves those accolades more than Pat. Thank you.
Thank you, Director Moore. Um also want to thank council for their fast action on adopting resolution 4, 2022. That is a resolution having seven hills join the state of Ohio America 250 Ohio project. Um this resolution is going to allow us to work with the state to celebrate and commemorate the 250 anniversary of the United States by exploring some of Ohio's contribution to US history over the last 250 years. Each month we'll take a different focus on a different theme that reflects Ohio's unique uh impact to the United States. Um, some of those themes that we're going to celebrate this year is innovation, industry, music and entertainment, arts, culture and literature, natural resources, picnics, fairs, festivals, sports and wellness, food and farms, and honoring veterans, first responders, and our frontline heroes. Uh, and we have a lot of uh, fun and interesting and educational uh, things planned uh, to help the state of Ohio and the city of Seven Hills commemorate uh, this great occasion of our country's 250th anniversary. That's uh, my updates for this evening. Mr. President, thank you for this time.
Thank you, Mayor. Uh, reports and communications from the directors. Uh, does any director have anything they want to say this evening? Nothing. Okay. We now go to miscellaneous comments from council. Council person Kelly. Thank you, Mr. President. Uh, I too would just like to congratulate attorney Pat Durro. It is welld deserved. So, that's good news. Thank you. Thank you, Councilman Snitzky. Nothing this evening, sir. Man, I think that's a first. Stop it, Council Mora.
Congrats, Peggy. the man. Also, um really cool to be uh to beat Canada 2-1 women and men's and congrats to our local native on the women's team, Leila Edwards. So, uh USA all the way. Thank you, Mr. President. Mr. President, if I may, um, winning two gold medals in men's and women's hockey is pretty great, but nothing compared to uh, Councilman Mororrow's bowling a 299. Oh, YEAH.
YEAH. Can I ask what what what frame did it happen in? Oh, it was the last ball. Oh, I second ball. I'm not a bowler. Oh, yeah. 299 one pin one and a broken foot. Wow. Okay, Councilman Kelly. Uh nothing this week, Council President. Thank you, Councilman Elliot. Um special thanks to Pat Diurro. That's a awesome award that he deserves. But uh moving on to Aaron Frank 10% of was it 4,200? Is that what she said? Yep.
That's amazing. I mean that's It's actually crazy if you think about it. 4,200 awards and we only 10% are given out and you got one. That's awesome. Uh congratulations and um it shows this place has really turned around quite a bit over the years and bringing you in is just another step towards that. Appreciate it. Oh, thank you very much. Thank you, Mary.
Mr. President. Yes, Mr. President. If I have another second along lines of Councilman Elliott, just a a real quick picture. Uh there's 59 municipalities and villages in Kyoga County alone. 59. So, think of uh the county and all these cities and 10% would be let's six. So on average you'd be saying one of six cities in Kayak County to receive this award of distinction. So uh that's certainly something worth to uh celebrating this evening. Thank you Mr. President.
Thank you mayor. I also want to congratulate Pat Diurro for his award uh that evening and uh and the finance department and the city for their finance uh award that they received from uh keep favor. Uh and that's all I have for this evening. I'm going to move to adjourn at 6:35 p.m. Is there a second? Elliot second. All in favor? Yay. Any opposed? Meeting adjourned. I I have to say one thing. See, if I didn't speak I didn't speak and everybody else did. Just saying. I thought you're going to talk about trees tonight. True. Nope. Hey, I did that already. Would you say anyone can speak?
