Hello, everyone. Hi. My name is Hype Tosuko. I'm from the Mental Health Task Force here in the town of Miami Lakes. And I'm going to each, well, I'm trying to reach out to other committees in the town to talk to them about our fall festival coming up on October 24th.

Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Magnet Mix is hosting a fall festival at Veterans Park. I'm here to promote the fall festival, bring out your families, your friends, but we are asking for sponsorships. So if anybody wants to be a sponsor for your own business or for the Elderly Affairs Committee, you guys are more than welcome to reach out to NOAA. and aisle to see if you guys are interested. I brought some flyers here. Also, if anyone here has a grandchild who is a performer of ballet, of dance, cheering, lots who are interested in performing at our festival this October, please email on an aisle so they can perform at the events. So they're going to dunk the mayor this year, hopefully. and other like really like they're doing pumpkin patches there's going to be pumpkins there for the kids to draw on and then yeah and then there's going to be tents all around the park yeah last year they did it at the veterans park yeah it's still going to be there so yeah and then there's going to be mental health resources um along the the pathway uh with the tents and and so you can see different companies and what they have to offer so just out of curiosity i apologize

What does the mental health task force do? What is their goal? What are they trying to accomplish?

Because I don't even know. How can they help? Let's pretend that I see a citizen that's struggling. What can I do and what can you do?

So for those type of situations, it has to be 9-1-1. And 911, they are telling us that there are certain calls that they can forward to a mental health crisis line. As far as the task force is concerned, what we want to do is promote mental health awareness around the town. In Veterans Park, if you've noticed, on the bathroom, there is a 988 sign. So that was our doing. We were the ones pushing it. The town approved it. And now it's up. So anybody that is going through any type of crisis will see that sign and say, OK, so now there's not one for medical emergencies. But if I'm having or if one of my family members is having some sort of crisis, I can dial 988 and you're going to be hooked up to the national hotline for mental health, not suicidal. but just mental health, somebody to talk to, somebody that can help you.

Like a crisis time, a hotline.

Yeah, and the chair and the vice chair on mental health, Rosa is mental health. So we have Lindsay. Lindsay too. Is this the president? They have their own practice.

When the mayor wants the Mental Health Task Force to have an event for resources, he's there and he's listening and stuff.
