Request for approval of Resolution No. 2026-15, Urging the West Volusia Hospital Authority to continue and enhance operations at the miCare Deltona Clinic.
The West Volusia Hospital Authority (WVHA) miCare Deltona Clinic (the "Deltona Clinic") opened its doors for business in December of 2020 and has served the residents of Deltona and the surrounding areas ever since. The City recognizes the importance and benefits the WVHA miCare Deltona Clinic provides to the health, safety, and welfare of the City of Deltona and urges the WVHA Board of Commissioners to continue and enhance operations at the Deltona Clinic.
Request for approval of Resolution No. 2026-16 for the Interlocal Agreement with Volusia County Animal Services FY25-26.
Animal Control will utilize Volusia County Animal Services, for rendering assistance in emergency situations, such as pet sheltering for animal cruelty, animal fighting, dangerous dogs, and impoundment of animals found in distress. This is also to include surgeries for the Trap Neuter Return Program (TNR). Code Compliance Manager Danny Ron, suggests to approve, the Interlocal Agreement with Volusia County Animal Services.
Request for approval of Resolution No. 2026-17 the Division of Administrative Hearings, State of Florida, Special Magistrate Services with ALJ Contract Services FY25-26.
Code Compliance will utilize Division of Administrative Hearings, State of Florida, Special Magistrate Services with ALJ Contract Services, for all Special Magistrate hearings and related business, review the Agenda and Minutes, to include case review, prepare all the orders, sign off and post for the public. Code Compliance Special Magistrate hearings, will commence the fourth Wednesday of each month via Zoom, beginning February 25, 2026 @ 5:30 pm. Code Compliance Manager Danny Ron, suggests to approve, the Division of Administrative Hearings, State of Florida, Special Magistrate Services with ALJ Contract Services FY25-26.

Eick, entered an Order Authorizing Foreclosure of Code Enforcement Liens recorded in the Volusia County Official Records Book 6735 Page 2404, Book 7032 Page 1531, Book 8278 Page 1968, Book 8272 Page 1235, and Book 8272 Page 1237 finding that the Property is not in compliance, the fines have not been paid, and the liens have not been satisfied.

The parcel described as Parcel Number 813035000100 located on Captain Drive, Deltona Florida, has been identified as a valuable asset for the potential development of a future trail connection and/or park expansion. The Parcel is not suitable for the construction of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings due to the easements, physical characteristics, and zoning limitations. The preservation of the Parcel for open space and recreational purposes aligns with the City's long-term planning goals and supports the well-being of the Community.
