Yes.
Mr. Thomas.

Ms. Dalbo.
Yes. Item five, discussion items. Item 5A, Department Director's Report.
The only thing that I would like to discuss with the Board and possibly would be a great thing for a workshop is to discuss the property here on Park Avenue, which was done in the visioning plan for this area. One of the objectives was to we allocated money this year in the CRA budget to acquire properties in the immediate vicinity of Park Avenue to facilitate that vision. I wanted to get I have a recommendation from the Economic Development Board, but I wanted to have a discussion with the council or the CRA Board regarding whether we want to pursue those and have gotten in prices.
Would the properties be purchased through the CRA funds?
Correct.
Have another question.
I'm more than happy to have that conversation. I'm glad we're having that conversation. But truly, as a Board, I don't think we've ever had the conversation if we think the Park Avenue vision is how we want to go as a whole. I think that we've talked about vision before, but it's truly not gone anywhere. So I would love to have that conversation. I'd love to have a workshop with the council to discuss exactly what our vision Mike. Question. Get Mike. Mike. And happy that we're talking about that.
But I'd I'll like for it us to discuss more as a Board what we're going to do. And if that is the goal that we want to move towards, what we're doing exactly to meet that goal for the Park Avenue corridor that was envisioned almost twenty years ago.
Mr. Mayor, I have a question.
Sure.
How much funds do we have available in the CRA, funds for the general public health, for the businesses.
For the facade grants? Yes. So we allocated $100,000 this year.
We have how much do we have available now?
25, so we had 75, 69, roughly 61,000.
Okay, now during the moratorium, can you elaborate what they're allowed to do? I realize they can paint fix the structure, but they can't add anything that would be impervious. Is that correct?
No. So the Florida Shores building
quarter.
Bit we're able site plan. Now they could pull building permits on U. S. One. Of We excluded that commercial corridor. So people could still apply and apply for facade grants.
For existing structures? Correct. Okay. Thank you, sir. Want the public to know what they're allowed to do and what they're not allowed to do. Thank you, Mr. Mayor.
You're welcome, my friend. Seeing no more comments,
do we want to schedule schedule a a workshop? Workshop?
Think that's a good idea. I'd like to do that. Yes.
Mr. Mayor, we do have a workshop on the twenty seventh. Is that correct?
4PM? Yes. That's before a council meeting. Does the storm water or the public work
need the entire I don't believe so. Okay. There's that opportunity not to create another meeting.
So maybe do an hour for the storm water and then an hour for the CRA?
Sounds perfect to me.
Okay, thank you.
Okay, seeing no further comments and we have scheduled that workshop for the twenty seventh.
