General Plan Amendments to the Open Space Element to comply with Senate Bill (SB) 1425
The draft amendments to the Open Space Element add an Appendix that exhibits the County's SB 1425 compliance by cataloging existing General Plan measures related to equitable access to open space, climate resilience co-benefits of open space, and rewilding opportunities. This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the "common sense" exemption. Staff recommendation: hear presentation and vote to forward proposed Amendments and CEQA Notice of Exemption to the Planning Commission with a recommendation for adoption by the Board of Supervisors.
