Pierce County staff will present updates on the expected 2026 Planning Commission workplan.

Pierce County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan•Item A

Study Session

The Planning Commission will receive a presentation on the proposed update to the Pierce County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan. After the presentation, members will have a chance to ask staff questions. The public hearing and deliberations on this plan will take place in January or February 2026. The PROS plan provides the long-term plan for park facilities and programming from 2026-2046. The plan is updated every 6 years. For more information, please visit www.piercecountywa.gov/PROS.
