The Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at or after 6:00 PM on Zoom on the application of North Shore Residential Development, Inc., for approval of a major site plan review under §135-7.5 [Village & Multi-Family Overlay Districts] and 9.5 [Site Plan Review] of the Zoning Bylaw and Article VI of §181-71 Stormwater Management Regulations. Proposal also requires a special permit, pursuant to Section 5.1.14 [Off-Street Parking and Loading], to modify the parking design standards to request relief from on-site snow storage areas required by § 5.1.13.6. Application is to construct a mixed-use building with 49 dwelling units, ~4,900 SF of commercial space, 67 vehicle spaces, landscaping, stormwater management, and associated site improvements. The property is located at 16 Clarke Street, Lexington, MA also known as Map 49, Lot 79 in the CB (Central Business) zoning district. Related Background: The property secured a zoning freeze permitting development under 2024 MFO (Multi-Family Overlay) zoning. The property is also in the Battle Green Historic District and exterior renovations are under review with the Historic Districts Commission.
