Dear Lord, thank you for getting us through this heat today up to City Hall. Safely, I might add. Just be with us as we go through the next... a few sessions of either the rest of the budget after we do this tax rate, and just be with us every day, be with our first responders. Just take care of all of us, dear Lord, because we need your help every step of the way. And help us make good decisions this evening. In Jesus' name, amen.

I don't see anybody here. all right first item new business is discuss and act regarding the proposed maximum tax rate the city of josephine will consider for the physical year beginning october 1st 2026 and ending september 30th 2027 and conduct a record vote to call a public hearing to be held august 20th 2026 at 6 p.m recurring public public publication of the notice of 2026 tax year banner newspapers and posting on the city's website council any discussion on this not we entertain a motion

I'll make a motion to approve the proposed maximum tax rate of 0.481878 unless council changes and schedules a public hearing on the tax rate for August 20th, 2026. I'll second.
