Common Council - Regular Meeting

I have it in my in my Bible. Good morning. I would like to call to order the public hearing for local law of 2026. The time is now 11:03 a.m. This public hearing is being held to allow the general public to provide testimony in support or opposition to local law A of 2026 which is currently before the mayor for consideration. The title of local law A reads as follows. A local law amending article 3, senior citizens tax exemption of chapter 333, taxation of the code of the city of Albany to increase the maximum exemptions percentage levels applicable to the exemption. Present we have Mayor Bioclar, Shenica Jackson, city clerk, and Demetra Brown, deputy city clerk. Should anyone have any questions and or testimony, again, this public hearing is held in support or opposition um to local law a 2026 and is before the mayor for consideration. This public hearing was appropriately noticed and the full text can be found on our website at www.awny.gov in the comments council section under public hearing. At this time, no one has signed up to submit any testimony or appeared or has appeared in person to provide testimony. Um, we will keep well at this

time we will take about a fivem minute um recess to allow the general public time to come and to provide public comment in person.
