11:24 – 12:505

residents and particularly us leaders who govern, that it's very important that we live our lives respectful of the sacrifice, those paid for our freedom, and that we govern in a manner worthy of that sacrifice. Not the most eloquent of my words, but I think you get the point. There are those that we honored yesterday that gave all so that we could sit here and do what we do today. And we should never take that responsibility lightly. In spite of a misty start, we had a wonderful and solemn Memorial Day event, a well-attended parade, touching ceremony. And that couldn't have happened without tons and tons of volunteers. led by a community service department. This year, particularly, Taylor Tomeko really stepped up. I wanted to acknowledge that. But it wouldn't be the same without all the residents that line both sides of the street and attended the ceremony. So however you honored and remember them yesterday to all of you here and all of you at home. Thank you for taking the time to remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, Mayor.

12:51 – 13:177

Do any of the directors have any comments this evening? Sharing none, we're going to go to miscellaneous and Councilman Snitsky, we have a floor motion. Councilman Sinske, is your microphone on?

13:19 – 15:474

Yep. OK. Resident applicant Ken and Dan Kacik, 965 Primrose. Four or five members were present for the meeting. A two-foot variance is being requested to ordinance number 1106.02C, driveway construction. City law requires a five-foot buffer between property lines. The turnaround on the driveway is currently gravel, which resident will replace with concrete and provide a six-inch curb, which will help with any runoff. The resident applicant incurred a great deal of money and time to restore the once dilapidated property in the area, both inside and out. The practical difficulty is based on current layout of the driveway. There is not enough room. and it creates a safety issue to get in and out of the driveway. No objections from the city engineer. A letter in favor of the project was submitted by the affected neighbor at 1043 Primrose, who has zero objections to the variance request. The ZBA Board voted 4-4 in favor of the proposed variance. Request citing the project adds value to the home and the neighborhood. It's a good investment in the property and is not a substantial variance request and has zero impact on the neighborhood. Having read that, 965 Primrose Drive, Ken and Dana Kazak, K-A-Z-A-K. The Board voted whether or not to grant the applicant and property owners Ken and Dana Kazek 965 Primrose Drive, a two foot variance to ordinance number 1106.02 C driveway construction to allow the proposed parking area to encroach two feet into the required five foot minimum setback as depicted in the submitted site plans. Again, roll call vote was four yeas, zero nays. can i get a second please two guys a second all in favor of the variance yay yay motion carried any opposed any opposed motion carried okay now we're going to go to miscellaneous comments from council councilman snitsky uh great parade yesterday the parade just keeps getting bigger and bigger more and more people I want to thank the mayor for providing me with a ride because I really couldn't walk, even though I tried to walk quite a bit yesterday. 15:48 – 16:346

That's it. Thank you. Thank you, Councilman Sinskey. Councilman Morrow? Oh, yeah. I want to thank all the residents for coming out to the parade.
