for which it

stands, one nation under God, indivisible,

1:10 – 1:28Speaker 1

justice for all. That was hilarious. And now we'll go to the land acknowledgment statement. I believe Vice Chair Hines is prepared to read.

1:29 – 1:53Speaker 3

I am. On behalf of Pima County residents, we honor the tribal nations who have served as caretakers of this land from time immemorial and respectively acknowledge the ancestral homelands of the Tohono O'odham Nation and the multi millennial presence of the Pascua Yaqui tribe within Pima County. Consistent with Pima County's commitment to diversity and inclusion, we strive toward building equal partner relationships with Arizona's tribal nations.

1:55 – 2:13Speaker 1

Thank you. So we have two agenda items today. The first executive session coming back for complementary agenda item. So we are going to I will move that we shift to executive session.

2:15Speaker 1

Seconded by Supervisor Hines. Discussion? All those in favor?

2:22 – 2:41Speaker 1

Opposed? None. Executive Session motion passes four-zero. My guess is this is a fairly short executive session, so we will be back soon. Technical question for AV folks.

2:41 – 10:31Speaker 1

We can leave this open and open up another window for our session Okay, great. Right. I feel like that was just like a move from Star Trek or something where we all just imported back to a different venue. Okay. We have returned from executive session.

10:33 – 10:56Speaker 1

Item four that was discussed in executive session was a discussion only. So we are now moving on to item five, which is an elementary and secondary school emergency relief grant. I will move we I will move the item.

10:58 – 11:14Speaker 1

Seconded by Supervisor Heinz. Any discussion? I don't know if the county attorney or administrator would like to do a thirty second blurb on what this is.

11:15 – 11:48Speaker 4

Sure, I can. We had previously question. I think $0.6 for services provided between October '3 and September of submitted to the U. S. Department of Education.

11:49 – 12:05Speaker 4

That request was initially denied. It is now being authorized for payment. Those payments have to be submitted again to the Department of Education by tomorrow. So that was the necessity for having this special meeting today.

12:09Speaker 1

All those in favor?

12:12Speaker 2

Aye. Opposed?

12:19 – 12:34Speaker 1

Item passes three-one. And that would be our entire agenda. So the next item is our adjournment. So if I have a gavel, clunk, clunk.

12:37Speaker 2

Thank you very much. Yes. Thanks, everyone.

12:39Speaker 1

Thank you all.
