[music] Hi, my name is Ian Dailey, finance director for the city of Torrance. Let me tell you about a few upcoming public hearings. This fiscal year, Torrance's operating budget is approximately $592 million with another $85 million slated for capital improvements. Over the past 6 months, the city of Torrance has been hard at work developing next fiscal year's budget, which will be adopted by the full city council in June. [music]

To learn about this new budget and to make sure that your voice is heard, join us for one of three public hearings before the city council adopts the budget. If you're unable to join us in person, make sure to go to the One Meeting Portal, where all the city [music] council agendas and items are posted, so you can submit your public comment. We'll be here at the council chambers inside city hall on May 5th, May 19th, and June 9th.
