All right, we're gonna get started. Right. So we have a light agenda today. But before we get started, I think that it's worth recognizing Mr. DeWitt over here for the emergency operations procedures. Arlington County, as of a couple days ago, was the only county that concurred with our EOP. So care will say job well done to get that in there and uh hard county up the top where we belong a lot of people provided information and i appreciate everybody's help thank you so the corner didn't submit anything uh ems There was nothing submitted. Do we need to talk about cardiac monitors today or just wait until finance? I'm thinking we just wait until finance and discuss, try to get to a decision point. Yeah, I mean, that's what I intended or thought we should do anyway. Next up would be 911. He originally had submitted two things, but the RFP quote for the QA software, we're going to discuss at a later time. The only thing he has is a surplus vehicle from the sheriff's department. So you want to speak a little bit?

And for a few years, I've been asking the sheriff if he had a vehicle that they could provide us that they didn't need anymore. Now, from the law, he's able to give us a vehicle that we can use for transportation for employees to Richmond. No cost to us of tagging it and doing all the changes and whatnot. That way we can keep the new car here for our addressing and our PR stuff. We always have it here. And it's still working on theirs. Anybody have any questions about the surplus vehicle? We should all have information on it. It used to be an old detective car, so it's a roadworthy and decent. It has good tires on it. I think it's worth trying it out.

Is that something we can do in-house? We do. We use them now. Anybody else have anything to add about the surplus vehicle?

Sheriff's Department, not here. They didn't commit anything. Emergency management, anything come up you want to talk about?

No, sir. I would like to maybe just kind of mention at some point in the fiscal court, I'd like to bring the attention of some first responders during this last book. The Central Fire Department also, Kentucky State Police, Hartford County SO. We had some guys put themselves on a Pretty dangerous situation. And even though the outcome wasn't what we wanted, was able to save two or three people of a car. And again, I think that probably needs to be noble mentioned in court. And I could draft something together. I know Senator Dean reached out. He wants some of their names as well. So give them accommodation too. Joey was part of that too.

Fair enough. It's worth checking out.

Everybody keep an eye on the weather tonight. We could be getting some rough weather through the middle of the night. What time is that supposed to roll in? About 1 to 3.

A lot of rain all weekend.

The good thing about it though, they're going to come in sparks. It is going to be 10 hours of solid rain. It'll be heavy rain then several hours before it happens again. It's starting from tonight through, I think, Saturday morning.

So three different spells. Not showing anything. So there's a chance for some flooding, basically.

Well, it's more flash flood. Like I said, if you're quick rain, then, you know, what really helps is that spell in between there. Because Hardin County has a lot of low areas.

We haven't had any just steady rain. It's all been coming down.

I will mention that you guys do visit the fair. Stop by the command trailer. They work at an ambulance. An ambulance. Sure, I mean, we're all down there. We should mangle around there. Everybody's in. Yeah. Well, I mean, I know that's what Big Josh is right now. That's up here. We're all preparing.

Big Josh isn't here, so anybody have anything else they want to discuss? Just go. Uh, it's a note that, uh, for the town hall discussion on, uh, you know, putting together a, uh, plan for our services, all that. So that is, that's pretty, pretty much ready. Uh, it definitely will be about Monday evening for the chiefs meeting.

What time is that meeting?

632. Yes, right here in this room. So if anybody wants to come for that presentation to the Chiefs, the purpose is for them to see it and discuss it and we can make some changes to it for their recommendations. We've already got obviously Joy and others funneling into this presentation, but when you get them all together, then there may be some other So we'll see how that meeting goes. And hopefully by the end of the meeting, we'll have a pretty good consensus on that this is a good five-year plan. And that will include how to pay for everything, all that stuff. So I just wanted to give you a heads up that that's going to happen tonight. And then after that, what time is that? 6 30. Then after that, um, then we'll have some time before the next emergency service study in August. So the plan to, uh, present the revised version that to feedback discussion. hang on we'll adjourn at 3 38.
