HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. HEAT. work on today. He's going to give us a couple of quotes, a couple of different scenarios of what we can do up there with that grant money that's left over.
We have a meeting on Friday uh with the engineer and contractor and BW look at that chestnut culprit down there on the corner of chestnut and grand dam to start that project kind of like what we did up at Star Lake. So hopefully get that one off our our books as well. And then tomorrow night is the master plan meeting at the fire hall open to the public. And obviously the members of the council are welcome to come as well. And that's from 6:00 to 9. 6:00 6:00 to 9 at fire.
Yes, Mr. Mayor. I just want to report that following the last meeting after adoption of all of the affordable housing ordinances and resolutions everything has been uploaded to the program and the bureau is a compliance registrating for a final order. Um, for me, just so that the the public knows, um, I've heard some chatter regarding, um, Main Street development, and I'm sure it'll be talked about tomorrow night with master plan, uh, specifically the post office area. We are in constant communication with the developer and the developer's attorney, and Mike has reached out several times to see the progress on that. It's a slow process with this developer. Um I know it has to they have to go before the county to get permission from there. There's a lot of steps that have to take place before they um before they can break ground. So I know it's it looks horrible and I'm in total agreement with that. But anytime you're doing a major project, there's a lot of steps other than what we approved. They have to go to port county. I'm sure there's some D permits. There's uh hookups for water, there's hookups for sewer, um all the utilities, the gas line, and all that stuff has to be prepared before they start breaking ground. So, it is a long process, but um hopefully we'll know more. But I can just tell you that Mike is constantly reaching out to their attorney primarily to see the progress that they are making down there. So, it's not a project that's being forgotten about. We are working with them to make that job happen. All right. Um, and also down by Lena's you'll see a fence was put up and it keeps kept on falling down to our property maintenance officer. He's been in constant touch with the owner and now they permanently cemented the fence on
the ground today. So when the high winds come, they won't be falling over on top of the sidewalk anymore. So we are looking at everything that's going on in town. It's nothing's being overlooked. Okay, that's pretty much it for me. Um, first a day squad. Um, third beast. I am attending. I believe Mike's doing that. I do have 10 tickets secured. If anybody else would like to join us, I'll do more than just let me know. I'm sure I can get more if needed. That's usually a really fun night and it's to support our first day club, which would be nice. When is it?
It's April 18th. Um, good band, obviously. Good food. Yeah. $75 tickets and um I believe um um Amanda, she's Yeah. Yeah. Amanda's the one with the tickets. And actually, she's told she put 10 aside for me. We're supposed to meet up last night to get them, but uh she got stuck at work. So, but I do have 10 in my possession. I'm sure I can get Mark if anybody else would like to go. All right. Okay. Item eight, resolution number 2026 3.7 consent agenda. Do I have a motion to accept a consent agenda? So moved. Second.
Any questions? Roll call. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Gassy. Yes.
Okay. Number nine, public hearing for county historic preservation grant application for the Blumenale Museum. As we stated, I think at our last meeting, we are applying for $100,000 grant to refurbish um the museum down on Boston Street to take over the garage area to expand the museum. Um Tom Riley's down there every Saturday, and there's people that are coming down to see it. So, the museum's a great um asset to our town and our town's history. And Tom wants to expand it. I know he has how many banners? 70 something.
70 70 something veterans banners that he wants to hang inside the museum, but he needs more space. So, we're applying for this grant hopefully and we'll be able to expand the museum internally. We're not going to put an addition on. It's just to make the garage area presentable and make it part of the total museum. So, we'll have the whole entire building. All right. Um, do a motion to open up public hearing. Second. All in favor? I. Anyone wishing to come up and talk about this? Seeing no one a motion to close. Second. All in favor?
