4:36 – 5:150

My daughter's last names here. You lost the head. I got to be good. I got hit the gap, please. All right, let's start with the pledge of allegiance and the money. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

5:11 – 5:330

Now, a moment of silence. And as Jim puts on the bunny costume, we can start with a roll call. Here

5:37 – 6:220

outstanding. Moving on to claims. Uh 2.1 approval of APVs 28920 through 28972. I'll make a motion that we approve APVS 28920 through 28972 as provided in our backup. I will second that. And we're moving good. Any discussion? All those in favor say I. I. Motion carries. Premature. And the approval of SRF claims APVS 28966 through 28967. I'll make a motion. We approve claims 28966 through 28967. I'll second that. Okay.

6:19 – 7:040

Any discussion? All those in favor say I. I I and that carries as well. Moving on to the adoption of minutes. Uh do I have a motion on the adoption of town council minutes from March 18th? I'd like to make a motion that we approve the minutes as presented in our backup materials for our meeting of March 18th. I'll second that I'm giving it to Ethan because we've had a couple jump starts on Terry. Any discussion? All those in favor say I. I. And that carries. All right. Now we'll open it to public comments. Uh three minutes per person for items that are on the agenda only.

7:03 – 7:420

That needs to go away. Yeah, that's not that is not appropriate for anything. Okay. Well, Ethan, I actually like the public comment section. Okay. Oh, nervous. Scanning. All right, nobody today. So, moving on to old business. Ordinance 031826A, the amendment to the zoning ordinance. Second reading plan commission recommendation was attached to our backup materials. Do I hear a motion?

7:40 – 8:250

I'll make a motion that we approve ordinance 031826A on its second reading. I'll second that motion. It's been moved and seconded. Any um discussion? I just think Terry was trying to sweep all of the seconds and since she she lost one, she's done. She's out. Fine. Um we've got 26. Okay, never mind. Just show All those in favor say I. I.

8:20 – 8:570

I. And that carries. Now to ordinance 031826B is in Bravo. Amendment to design standards and specifications. Second read. I make a motion that we approve ordinance 31826B as presented. Amending design standards and specifications. I'll second. Any discussions on approving this on its second reading? All those in favor say I. I.

8:54 – 9:070

And that carries as well. Moving right along to new business. Ordinance 040126. It's not April Fools. It's a UTV ordinance.

9:120

Zack, would you like to speak on this?

9:13 – 10:380

I I can go first. Yeah, if you'd like me to. Um last uh meeting there was discussion about allowing UTVs on roadways within the town. Um what I've done is borrowed from some other municipalities that are similarly situated as well as um kind of meld it with the golf cart ordinance. So I didn't I didn't put it with the golf cart ordinance. I made it its own um its own chapter within uh your town code. Um, and I know a couple of highlights that you all wanted included were that the um, UTV was first registered with the state and that proof of that registration would be presented upon application with the town. Um, other than that, I know we've got uh, a few of you had commented that we need to add um, under equipment requirements, we need to add turn signals. Um that was an oversight on my part. Um we also updated the um differs a little bit from the golf cart but um it's escaping me now. I believe we we raised the um cost for registration by $5. I think it's $30 instead of 25. Oh, that's in uh 47.04 permit required.

10:35 – 11:100

Where's the state? Um let's see that would be underh um permit required same section as uh I mentioned before 47.04E 04 E UTV owners must provide proof of registration with the state of Indiana in accordance with Indiana code 918 14. That meets what you were asking about. Correct. Right. So basically they register the state prior to coming to

11:08 – 11:280

and we actually have in the language in there that they have to show proof of registration with the state when they apply for their permit through the town. So they can say yeah I register with the state. They have to show proof. So, they should have a sticker actually on the machine itself.

11:26 – 12:360

So, I want to call out a couple other things. Um, we did remove 450 West off of the restricted roadways, too. I don't know if anybody caught that. 500 West is still on there, but we did remove 450. Otherwise, um I really like what Zach did here, taking the existing county ordinance and suiting it to fit the town's needs. In my oper opinion, I think this reads really well. It's very clear. I personally like that we're um calling out that the operator needs to be 18 years of age. I think that's one of the things that is kind of moving around a lot right now with a lot of people getting uh golf carts and UTVs on the roadways. Um sometimes there's some younger kids that probably shouldn't be operating something on the road with vehicles and could possibly get hurt. So

12:34 – 13:170

that was a difference between I believe the golf cart ordinance is 16. Um, my was more of a personal opinion that 18 was probably more appropriate for a UTV that could go quite a bit faster. And yeah, and just to be clear, there is a difference between UTV and ATV. So, this does not allow people on minibikes and uh quads and three-wheelers. That is not that is not covered under here. UTV and ATV are completely different. So, just to be clear about that, is a licensed Vespa legal on a road? Just asking for a friend. He's asking about a Vesa.

13:15 – 13:310

Vesa. No, you can't drive that. Chief said no. Only if you wear an Easter Bunny head. Yes. Only the Easter Bunny man. All right. Well, we've had a lot of discussions about this, but um do I hear a motion before we go too far? Can I

13:28 – 14:130

go ahead? One request I like to do too is we have the permits set up for June 1st or May 31st. That was set up a long time ago. I would like to adjust that to January 1 to the end of the year because people are ready to start getting up and get them up and running. If we wait all the way till June to get their permits, well, they you got nice weather right now. People want to be out on them. So, I prefer that we just move it to January 1, the start of the year to December 31st. And if you wait till December 30th to get it, that's your own fault. next year. So maybe are we going to do that with golf carts? Are we also amending golf carts on 450? We haven't discussed that.

14:11 – 14:350

Well, what I mean is the only reason to allow them on 450 the UTVs. The only reason is because they drive faster. Um, I believe in my personal opinion, um, they're more of a vehicle than than a golf cart. They're not a safety hazard because they move so slow, which a golf cart would be.

14:33 – 15:220

I think they're more of a mode of transportation than a golf than a golf cart. And I said, it's just personal opinion. Um, but, you know, I see farmers using these. I see, you know, going to the gas station, getting gas in them, or now, granted, that's on 52, but you can weave your way around, but I see these as more of a a use of transportation for a lot of people um than a golf cart. And and to be to be frank, if you if you eliminate 450 and 500 um there is no way to just cross without traveling down to get to town. If you live in Stone Crossing or Cedar Creek, well, Cedar Creek, I guess you can, but

15:21 – 15:590

yeah, we kind of made an adjustment in the uh the golf cart where if you didn't have a straight across come to, you can go a short distance till you cut into another neighborhood. We just didn't want because we were having some people going to the liquor store and going straight down 500 with the golf carts. Yeah, 500 I could completely see restricting that. You know, that's 450. I could see some loose loosening restraints on that a little bit. Uh like I said, it's a it's a little harder to to even, you know, what's what's the definition of short a short distance? You know what I mean? It's

15:57 – 16:380

like, you know, Stone Crossing, you can get all the way through Cedar Creek from Stone Crossing all the way into new one, right? Willow. Yeah, you can go to Willow Ridge if you had to. You can make that short jump down to Ridgewood and come back in. We just try to keep the bridge and the golf carts away from all that. Again, now that's your guys's choice. As far as a safety issue, I prefer we also restrict 450. Okay. But I but I don't really know. I haven't seen the UTVs in town, so I don't know how long it would be.

16:36 – 16:480

I think the golf carts on 450. The main issue I have is it's a longer stretch of road and they don't move at posted speed, right? Agree with that.

16:49 – 17:240

So you got passing and you got all that. So somebody's going to try to pass them and then Yeah. is how it is different from an ATV or a golf course or moped. I think I understand how a little bit looks how it'll operate and what fits under which category is something that we're going to come in here. So, I think it might be good if we get a little bit of a wheat.

17:33 – 18:150

Yeah, I'm not the only one. Yeah, there there's some pretty there's some pretty clear definition and and if you if you look it up the difference between an ATV and a UTV, it's very obvious. Um so it it shouldn't be too hard to to distinguish that. Um once we look, we we can give some looked into it. Does it show that on the registration? Yeah, I'm assuming if the state's registering, they have a definition of what that is for us. There is definitions and that would be indicated on the state registration. Yeah, we I would assume usually an ATV is a single rider

18:12 – 18:550

that kind of straddle the seat where a UTV is going to be more of a two to four person like a side by side utility a utility ranger blur something that nature gator. Yeah, a gator. Google AI has said they're gen ATVs are generally small single rider straddle seat vehicles. Big go UTVs are side or sideby sides are larger vehicles designed for two to six passengers featuring steering wheels, seat belts and and or a cargo bed making them ideal for heavy work and carrying passengers. Google's never been wrong. Well, thank you.

18:53 – 19:340

I think we can navigate that. And what I would say is maybe we need to specify if there's a question then we can bring that to a body or a person to make that decision. Say refer to chief. That's what I was going to say but I don't want to put them on spot. That's probably my biggest concern with 450 is the bridge just because the visibility and things like that changes so quickly. Is there a way to include 450 but exclude the bridge? Well, maybe we should exclude your car from the bridge, too, especially if you're driving without a phone book.

19:35 – 20:190

Yeah, I I don't I don't really don't see the the safety issue for UTVs on 450. Like I said, they they can travel. Some of them can burn up to 65 mph. Not that you would, you know, we have a flashing flashing speed limit sign down there, but but I I I do see them as more of a mode of transportation than a golf cart. I see your point. Uh golf carts are, you know, a lot of them only go up to 20 mph, 25 mph, and that's not even a posted speed limit uh in some places. So, I could see how that would be more of a hazard. UTVs are, you know, basically just some of them are as big as a smart car or bigger. So, um I don't see the issue there personally.

20:18 – 21:030

Okay. I don't I don't ride one nor do I drive one. So, I'll defer. They're fine. They're just If someone would like to loan me one that I could drive, I'd be happy to give her a go. I'd say you give it a go. If we start seeing issues, we can always come back and Yeah, we can amend it. Make some adjustments. Yeah, we can do that. So, the only adjustment to what's here that needs to be added is the turn signal. Turn signals already included, but and the 47.04A needs to change it January 1st. Yeah, turn signals isn't included in this document, but we he will add turn signals. Oh, it is. It's not included in this. It's not. Okay.

21:01 – 21:450

But he will add turn signals and then we will change the dates to January 1 to December 31st. We got in discussion piece. Do we does anybody uh feel move to make a motion? Moved. Move. Moved. I feel moved to make a motion that we that we approve the um UTV ordinance with the amended changes we discussed on first reading. We don't have to first. We do not. Okay. Why are you always pushing first? I just want to make sure you're not passing anything on first reading that we are not.

21:42 – 22:260

Okay. I was I was misinterpreting that. I will second that fine motion. All right. We got moved and second. Is there any further discussions? I think we discussed quite a bit. Uh Bill did. Zachie Zack, thank you for your work on this. You're welcome. And thank you for making sure we don't get all squarely with our um approving on the first reading. I do appreciate that because I mess that up almost every time. All right, no further discussions. Those in favor say I. I. All right, that passed on first reading. No. All right, it passed the first read. The first reading.

22:24 – 23:080

The first reading. I guess pass and adopted or Yeah. Yeah, we'll talk about it next time, too. Perfect. But the record should hold on it, too. All right. Uh, next thing is 6.2, the RDC annual report. I'll just offer that it was um kind of received from the RDC earlier today. It's in front of the council to approve or do we adopt it? We essentially adopt it and then um Ivonne will upload it to Gateway as required. On behalf of the RDC, I uh will make a motion that we adopt the annual report. Hear a second.

23:06 – 23:510

I'll second that. Also, it almost got replaced. Any discussions? I'll just say uh thank you, Von, for offering to go over that with some of our newer members. I think it's important for them to understand what it is, what it's used for, how the money gets put in there. Um, I know Bill was, you know, kind of telling us a little bit about it, but I appreciate you offering to spend some time. Yep. Given that um 85 slide PowerPoint from a on tiff districts, I walked out of that one more confused than I walked in, but either here or there. Um, all those in favor say I.

23:51 – 24:300

I. I. All right, that passes as well. Moving on to continued conversations. Um, I read about the um staggered terms in the minutes and seems as if there is still ongoing conversations and we're really in a holding pattern waiting to figure out where it's going to go. So, I don't know that we need to have much of a discussion other than say we'll continue to wait to see what happens. Yeah, I don't think it's looking promising, but yeah, we'll we can we can hold off. Fine with me. I'll be ready to ready to go when you want to take action. What do you mean ready to go? Do we have more information?

24:29 – 24:570

This is what I have at the moment. Um I've reached out to Miss Laugh and haven't heard anything back, but um if you still want to pursue that avenue, I I can continue to do that. I'll give her a call. Okay. I seen her last night, but it was too busy to talk. So, so we're pushing that one. All right. Next one is uh employee benefits. Um Bill, I'll pass it to you.

24:54 – 26:240

Well, I just want to say start with all the disclaimers. Um I I handed out in our handbook section 303 looks like a great place because it's pretty much a placeholder. So 303 we could insert PTO provisions and what I distributed is just a very crude first draft. This is just something for us to start with. I would welcome everybody. I would implore everybody to take a look at it, tweak it, add to it. Any thoughts are certainly welcomed. But several meetings ago, I volunteered to take the first stab at it. And so this is the first stab just to start the conversation. Me personally, I like the idea of eliminating vacation time, sick time, bereavement time, personal days, and instead come up with a concept of paid time off so that you can use it for any reason whatsoever. you have certain amount of days and hours and time that will be allowed. Um I just it's a little bit more flexibility and I think that it will help all of the employees. So that's what the concept is and again this is just a first draft.

26:21 – 26:360

I think it's more up to date. I think sick time and vacation time's kind of outdated. Yeah. I don't know if Okay. I mean

26:49 – 27:340

our bereavement is included in all of the PTO policy that we have. It's just I mean at my business and it's just a matter of you know we as long as it's defined as we offer days off of this unless you're concerned what if I run out and there's bereavement. Yeah. Then according to this policy you can take the day off you just don't get paid. I mean I don't I don't this doesn't talk about days off that aren't PTO. What is our policy for that? Do we have any I believe there's a I can double check. We can get up to three days of bereavement right right now. At no cost. The employee just gets it off.

27:32 – 28:110

He's talking about voluntary time off. Unpaid. Yeah. Unpaid. So we we do have we have in the past one of our military officers who's had to take time off and has not had the time to use. So it's it's time off. Yeah. Yeah. So this doesn't replace that. No. All Zar was trying to do was modernize taking time off. And so you don't have to, well, this one's a sick day, this one's a vacation day, this one's a personal day, this one's a wellness day. I just need a sanity break. If you have time that you can take off, you can take it off for whatever reason.

28:09 – 28:540

Do we have any anything? And I don't have it memorized, but does our handbook addressed if we move to something like this, um, people who abuse absences, do we have any like, hey, you're taking too many days off? Um, well, we have after so many days, you have to have doctors. I think in the old the the old way it was written that you could miss up to five days before you were required to provide a doctor's note. I in my in my first swath at this, I changed that to three days. You may be requested to provide a doctor's note. I've never been anywhere that let you miss more than three days in a row taking sick time

28:53 – 29:250

without an explanation. Yeah. Now, that was sick time. Without an explanation of, well, is he just burning sick time on vacation or is he burning sick time because he's sick? If you miss more than three days, they required me to provide a doctor's note upon return to work. That being said, if you if you have 40 hours of PTO and you burn it all and go on vacation and you're sick, well, you just earned yourself some loss time on paid time. But,

29:23 – 29:500

and you would always have performance issues. I mean, if somebody was missing so much work, whether it's paid or unpaid, their supervisor should address that as a performance issue. I think it is important to realize that these are all things that are not prompted by anybody taking advantage of any Oh, absolutely correct.

29:47 – 30:220

Situation. There's no issue. There's never as I've been here really been any issue with anybody taking too much time off. More than anything, I hear from people by the end of the year. May I'm still going to take two more days off, but you know, I'd rather come in because my work's going to still need to be done and I'll just forgo those days. Um, I never hear anybody. I still want to take more days off, but I can't.

30:20 – 30:520

Yeah. Just just to be clear, the whole reason that that um we we started this was to try to help the employees and make it more beneficial for them. It wasn't a wasn't a single employee issue whatsoever. This was more of a what can we do to make it easier for the employees and show some appreciation so they can earn some more time and carry over some more time and and that was the whole reason for this. So let let's just be clear about that. Unfortunately, you guys aren't going to be here forever though.

30:50 – 31:230

The other side of it is policy is not always written for, you know, the fact that everybody's following all the rules and doing all the things that should be done. that's written to make sure the the town is protected when or if that happens. And I want to make sure that we have kind of both sides of that particular equation. For example, unless I'm missing something in my initial reading of this, someone could at a moment's notice take 10 days off. Yeah. And I think that's a concern

31:18 – 31:590

again. And I think Bill implored us to read, review, and provide feedback. I think that's the first thing that came to my mind because even if you're talking three days without a note, this is saying 10 days, you know what I mean? Like we we can all provide kind of input on that and I think that's what's going to kind of bring the whole thing together. That's right. I also think it's um probably good to I have a printed copy. Um, Ryan did it on his typewriter, but maybe we could send out the affected policy pieces from the handbook so that everybody can have a copy of

31:57 – 32:360

Yeah, I'm just to me it's more of like put it to the top of everybody's email box. But like I said, I've got my paper copy. When I send you the email of everything that's been signed tonight, I'll add another copy of it. Thank you. change. Perfect. So we can wait to do this at the same time. We can My recommendation would be to do that before the end of town next year because this year you know people have already scheduled vacations and cancel all those vacations no longer

32:38 – 33:220

and one thing that's contemplated but wasn't distributed there will be a PTO request form. So somewhere the employee has to say how much they're requesting and a supervisor or the town manager has to approve it unless they're sick. Who's sick? An employee. So if we lump if we lump sick and vacation all that together and they take PTO time because they're sick, they won't they won't be requesting time off. When they show up though, they'll fill out a PTO request to cover their time that they Yeah. And then it's either going to be approved or not based on the circumstances. You weren't sick. I saw you prostitute.

33:20 – 33:510

Yeah. That's why I went to prostitute for that's medicine. What was that? On your like these days, you have 20 plus years of service being 30 days of time off. Some of us are already past that. Are we taking back time? Because like like me who never takes off sick and my vacation, I have 40 days. I have no I usually lose my sick time because I don't take it. But then another officer who's at 32 days. So how do we

33:540

We're not going to take days away from you and give you 30 days.

34:02 – 34:260

Yeah. We we'll have to Yeah. I think that's the nice part is this is the draft. just we wouldn't be taking because you can carry 40 over but you can only you can carry 10 over that would equal 40 and you only get paid for 10 you get exactly how many you get earn

34:31 – 35:150

right so this isn't taken away this is earned Right. So if you earn 20 a year, right? Well, so yeah. So my vacation I earn, you should earn six days a year for your vac for sick. But since I don't I haven't used my basically my ear. Yeah. Sick time's at 20. you're going to put together 26 and you would be you would be at 40 days because you could you could carry those 10 days over because you say you don't use them. So you get 30 plus your 10 that you carried over.

35:16 – 35:400

I think it is I'll do the math on this and compare them side by side so we can understand. Yeah. N and I appreciate that because this was just a first draft so that it's the concept.

35:37 – 36:110

Sure. And and the other thing that I wanted to try to do just a a little bit of fiscal responsibility is if you have an currently if you had an employee leave that had a huge amount of unpaid accumulated, you know, you could write a check for $10,000 to pay out that time. So this would also have some kind of a limit, a maximum. Um and and at some point you need to take some time off.

36:07 – 36:310

No. And I but but what I'm saying is then also so that the liability or potential exposure financial exposure to the town there's some kind of a payout cap and as long as everybody knows that upfront then it's reasonable and then Ivon doesn't have to write $10,000 checks if

36:34 – 37:190

well here's your baseline so Yeah, just something to talk. Thank you, Bill. Just a starting point. Yeah. If you guys read it and see something else that's squirly, just shoot us a message. Squirrely. Squirly. You get an extra squirrel. Yes. Or rabbit. Legal updates. Oh, legal updates. All right. Really? We're moving on to department reports. I just didn't want to put the bunny head on. Yeah, cuz that part that we do need to upgrade the one. That one's got a problem. Can we get one in 24 hours? Where did we get this? Where did we get the random? The random one's nice. It's a lot nicer than the other one. I don't know. How?

37:17 – 37:500

That's the one that we've always That's the one you've always wore. Well, what's this? That one's scary. That's the one we got because that one wasn't in yet. So, I ordered two of them. Yes. Oh, so the one on the right is available. It's not just like a All right, we're going to debate the bunny after we Okay. So, moving on. Jim, you're up. Can we go back to um a bunny? Which one? Um continued council conversation. Yes, sure. Sorry. Is there anything that should add to this?

37:47 – 38:330

Well, um I have an update about the hanging flower baskets for the town. Um, I got three quotes and um from Wells Nursery, Damon's Damon's whatever and guys nursery nursery and um Wells was the best. They really seem to work with me. Anyway, for an 18inch pot, it's $80. He said the the drainage is more minimal than I was looking at. Well, Damon's had 15 inch and the drainage was you'd be watering more frequently. Um,

38:33 – 39:180

how much were demons? They It was a 15inch pot for It was around 59 something. It just wasn't the quality that I saw at Wells and Guys Nursery was $100 for an 18 inch. How how many were you considering? 15 15 of them. Mhm. Okay. Yeah. And that's roughly counted I think around 42 lamp posts that are existing right now. And so that's about every third one. Yeah. And he said we're adding to it, so that's good.

39:12 – 39:450

He said it'd be a u angel wing beonia and something else I can't pronounce. Anyway, he said be green leaf with a nice red bloom. That would be very impressive. Is there a contact there you're working with at Wells? Kurt. Kurt. Mhm. I like beonas. They're pretty They're hardy guy. So, could I amend the agenda to request approval to get these ordered?

39:46 – 40:200

Yes. Would you like to make a motion? I would like to make a motion to amend the agenda agenda to request approval to order these from Wells. I'll second that. Where would you like them to be funded from? Uh well, we discussed that when we had our Yep. Was it the landscaping? Was it the RDC or something of that or No, we put it in our budget. We'll take a route. MVH. It's street. Yeah.

40:240

Yeah. Because we even added to that so we could add more I think this year.

40:34 – 41:140

I would say go ahead and let me go. Terry, does that include that bracket, the 18 brackets with it or No. Okay. So, Oh, and um because you asked me about, you know, you needed to know for the bracket to put on there. Um he said what weight would be about 40 pounds. Okay. How much are brackets? I can't remember. I think last year they were about $18 a piece. They're looking like a hundred bucks a a pot basically.

41:11 – 41:250

About 1,800. How long do they last? All summer. Well, as long as we keep them watered. Yeah.

41:28 – 42:130

And I requested that um we have those by before Summerfest. Yeah. Cuz they're they're growing them. Okay. No, I can get with Kurt and we can discuss them when he can have them ready and we'll get some brackets. 1,500 bucks. 18 18 with everything. 1,800. Why is it 18 $100? I think they were 80 bucks a piece. They are, but then you got $20 bracket, which is 18, which I thought we were doing 15 pots. 18 inch 15 pots. How much are the brackets? $18. I think that's what they were last year. 18 plus 80 years ago. 15 pots. 18. How many pots are you?

42:13 – 42:580

18. 15. 15. 15 pots. 15. You're right. Then it's 1470. Not to exceed $1,500. Well, I mean, it's around 1500, right? Yeah. See, my math was right. It was right. You did. You heard correctly. Just in the wrong context. Wrong category. Wrong category. Your budget is out of landing and maintaining $1500 or so. Thank you. Did we Did we vote on amending the agenda? I seconded it.

42:57 – 43:420

I know you second, but did All those in favor say I. I. Okay. Okay, we're amending the agenda to add the decision around purchasing hanging baskets. Thank you. Do I hear a motion around the purchase of hanging baskets? I'll make a motion to allow Terry and Jim to work together on purchasing hanging baskets and brackets for Main Street and the amount not to exceed $1,600. Added an extra 100 in there just because, you know, the brackets were $18 last year. Well, is that what you're think? No, we we don't get charge tag, but I mean, if they were $18 last year, they could be a little more this year. So, we don't know the exact price on the brackets. So, if it's over, use your card.

43:41 – 44:260

I'll second that. All right. Thank you. Any further discussion on this and doing math in public, which we're all doing really well. All those in favor say I. I. I. All right. Thank you. Any also uh I was going to say any other Yes. Uh thank you so much for asking. Uh dumpsters update on that. Um the date will be June 20th. They will deliver them the 19th. They will pick up the 22nd. We'll have six units at $350 per unit at and $50 per ton like we were charged last year. June 20th. June 20th.

44:24 – 45:080

I can't wait to get my That's too long for me to wait for my barn. Yeah, you might be cited for uh we're doing it Father's Day weekend. Unsightly. That's the best time, Ethan. We can get rid of the fathers. It's the weekend before, isn't it? Father's Day. Yes. Well, if you're here at June 20, it's a Father's Day weekend. It's a day before. That's fine. You only get a day anyway. It doesn't really matter. It's a Saturday before. So, yeah. That there's nothing like celebrating dad like throwing away his stuff. cleaning up stuff. All right. All right. Yeah. Yeah. That's great. Rails are coming. We're coming off. Well, I'm sorry.

45:06 – 45:350

No, don't be sorry. It's good. Come on. You It's not Mother's Day. Oh, that would get shot down real quick. Awesome. Okay, that's all I have. No, that's great. Thank you. All right. Anything else that we need to continue with council conversations? All right. Well, we already got the fact that there's no legal updates, so we'll switch it over to Jen.

45:31 – 46:150

Yeah. Um I think it's April 25th and I'll get with Brenda on that, but uh the Thrive Center, they're having another planning training. Um so I'd like to find Do we have new members and I'll get with Brenda on that and maybe see if they'll want to attend that. I think it's on a Saturday from like 8 to noon. Uh Taft and HWC puts that on. kind of breaks down the the PC, the BCA, uh their roles and things like that. We've kind of had that educational part before. So, if we have new members or old members that want to attend that, it's going to be at the Rick's uh Center of Arts in Greenfield. So, see if we have any takers on that.

46:140

You're going to have somebody send an email to them.

46:16 – 47:220

Yeah, I'll get the list of them. Uh the other thing is uh let me see tomorrow I think we'll have our last meeting with G4 that's with Povic on the amending of the PUD. So uh hopefully uh on the 15th they will come in and kind of start that process. So looking forward to that and I kind of have a breakdown of the layout kind of where it's at today if you guys would like to see it and we'll have to share it with you. The other thing is uh the Lincoln Day dinner for those that attended. Uh, wow. What a what a tremendous crowd that they had. Uh, I think it was it was full. Hundreds and hundreds of people there. That was a good dinner. And, uh, that's it. Well, we had a great, uh, kickoff with ratio this week. So, looking forward to the town center project. Uh, for myself, you know, speaking about it for four, three, four years. Uh, I think we're all going to have to learn to stretch, you know, with new ideas that they're going to bring to the table. So looking forward to that discussion continuing. So that's it.

47:21 – 48:050

Awesome. Anything for Jim? Anybody? All right. Uh Steve, nothing today. Quick and easy. Speed signs a success. Nothing. Like you said, speed sign is a Yeah. Yeah. A great success. Everybody knows it's good. Call me once or twice. want to put it. You're just testing it, right? You're making sure it works. Well, just just to comment on that. Uh I was I was talking with Orland earlier. Um last night coming home from the Lincoln Day dinner, there was I was on 450 and there was a car well ahead of me and it was dark out, but I seen the sign go off and say it was too fast. Yeah. And I seen the car hit the brakes.

48:05 – 48:480

Yeah. And it's not the first time I've seen a car approach that sign, get that signal. Yeah. And hit the brakes because of it. So, it is effective. No, they work. They work. I mean, it it's 30 miles. It will tell you if you're doing to slow down if you're doing 31. Yeah. So, yeah. So, you get at 30 or below. It's flashing. Oh, yeah. Can you change the color of the of the horse? Oh, god. I suppose. All right, moving on. All that could be answered if I had to. All right, Chief's got nothing for us. Ivon I don't have.

48:45 – 48:590
