Receive information and take desired action in reference to a request from the New Prospect Masonic Lodge #143 to solicit funds from motorists on Saturday, August 15, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a rain date of Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the intersection of SC Highway 9 and SC Highway 11, within the Inman/Campobello area, to provide scholarships for Swofford Vocational School attendees and general support for the students of New Prospect Elementary School.

Receive information and take desired action in reference to a request from Spartanburg County Emergency Management for approval to accept a FY26 Solid Waste – Hurricane Helene Grant Award from the SCDES, in the amount of $250,000, to purchase a grapple truck and compact track loader with a forestry rated grapple attachment. The equipment will support the removal of remaining Hurricane Helene debris and strengthen the County’s capacity to manage debris during future disasters.
