I move that the County Board convene a closed meeting as authorized by Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711 and for discussions considering the appointment of a board appointee and the terms of her employment with the county, discussions regarding the performance of a board appointee, and consultation with and legal advice from the county attorney regarding, one, Code of Virginia Section 15.2-1723.1, requirements and its impact on the police department's body-worn camera policy, and two, the county's potential liability and legal limitations in connection with the officer-involved shooting on Columbia Pike.
