City Council - Regular Meeting

Welcome to the agenda rundown. Here are some of the highlights from our February 18th city council meeting. Cal Fire Riverside County Fire provided an update to welcome Robert Fish as their new fire chief and Dustin Reed as Meny's new division chief. The department's recent restructuring was implemented to consolidate regional coverage of Meny to include Lake Elsenor and Wdemar. City staff presented on the 2023 to 2028 strategic plan highlighting key goals and objectives that were initiated and/or completed between July and December 2025. The report is available for the public to review at www.c cityofmen. us/strategic plan. The Meny City Council adopted the comprehensive economic development strategy. This document provides a strategic framework that guides Meeny's economic growth, resilience, and competitiveness over the next 5 years, supporting job creation, business attraction and retention, workforce development, and quality of life for residents.
