It is also the intention of the board to meet in closed session pursuant to California government code section five four nine five six point nine D one in order to discuss existing litigation in the cases of Donna Volpe versus County of Humboldt at all Humboldt County superior court case number CV two five zero two five three two and all points outdoor Inc versus County of Humboldt at all. Humboldt County Superior Court case number CV2601022. Finally, it is the intention of the board to meet in closed session pursuant to California Government Code section 54956.9 in order to discuss the initiation of litigation in one potential case.

With regard to item C2, the board voted unanimously to authorize the Humboldt County Council's office to defend the County of Humboldt in the case of Donna Volpe versus County of Humboldt at all, Humboldt County Superior Court case number CV2502532. And with regard to item C4, The board voted 3-2 with Supervisors Bone and Bushnell voting no to authorize the County Counsel's Office to defend the County of Humboldt in the case of all points. Outdoor Inc. versus County of Humboldt et al., Humboldt County Superior Court case number CV2601022.
